We do enjoy a concierge lounge (most recently on Disney Fantasy), but Michael's doesn't seem to be suited well for that purpose. Location is the drawback. We like to stop into the lounge on the way back to the room or pop in for a morning coffee but our suite for our upcoming Infinity cruise is deck 6 aft and Michaels is deck 4 forward. Honestly, I can't see us using it often.

Normally the cocktail hour for Elite & Elite Plus is held in the Sky lounge (that is what it is called on S class ships - Millennium class ships each have their own name for it). That is the glass enclosed lounge on the top deck at the front of the ship. If there are too many Elite / Elite Plus members (like on a TA) there will be vouchers.

Our next booked cruises are on Reflection and Connie......where is the a.m. coffee and mini breakfast held on each of these ships ? It. has been in Tuscan for S class...not sure about M class.....although we enjoy breakfast in Blu, we like to stop in for coffeee and danish some days.

glad to see the old wine area being put to better use...we liked the space better than Michaels on the S class ships...less familar with M class since they were Solsticized....

You may detect that I am not a Perry Grant fan..............so I consider any deck he is screaching his songs on a poop deck....................but some people love his humor in insulting others............Each to their own and X will continue to book him BUT WHY ALWAYS ON THE SAME SHIP is my point?
I am neither a fan, nor do I go out of my way to avoid Perry - I generally go to ONE of his shows when I am on the ship he is on. Having Perry always on the same ship makes it easy for his fans (and he does draw people who specifically book to sail with him) to know where to find him, and it makes it easy for people who adamantly want to avoid him. IMO Makes a LOT more sense than moving him around.

On the Connie the morning Elite breakfast is in Tuscan which is on deck 11 mid ship.

No TA's for the time being. We had two bad flight experiences in 2013 and are avoiding cruises that require air (we live in FL). We will see how long that lasts - we do have future cruises booked that require air. Tom

Sorry to hear about you had two bad flight experiences. Many cruisers try to avoid flights; especially long ones. You are lucky that you live in FL; lots to choose from. Enjoy your travels, wherever they take you.

Cellar Masters for the stuff previously in Michael's, just about any bar for the common stuff.

Good thing we booked the aft facing Aqua class cabin on deck 11, directly above the sunset bar.....I plan on bringing a rope and borrowing a bucket to lower over the balcony directly onto the bar (even though the stairs leading down to the bar are right outside our door).......but I guess I'll have to stagger forward a bit to get the specialty beers, that is unless I can convince the bartender at Sunset to haul a few specialty brews aft......but, glad they will still have them for us "common folk" in cellar masters! :D

We loved that location and I suggested the same methodology..

Enjoy!

We just got off the Connie and only used it 3 times, once when we were escorted there on embarkation day, then the 2nd day of the cruise and then this morning while we waited to disembark. My wife did book a spa thing at the last minute through the concierge.

I thought the food would be awesome, but it was not anything really special. The shrimp were just those little regular ones, they had sandwiches etc, nothing special.

The concierge was awesome, very friendly. The newspaper flyers were cool they had one for the US one for Canada and one for Britain.

There is a canopy over the bar and seating in the area between the stairs that will prevent a bucket from being lowered. It reps the tables beneath it dry and shaded

Looks like there is a "small window of opportunity" to lower the bucket down to the bar....it is the last cabin on the right and all the bartender would have to do is walk out from behind the bar

The April 2015 date is the official beginning of additional suite benefits.

Michael's Club will no longer be available for most passengers by the end of April. Only Solstice and Millennium, presently in the Pacific, will not be converted to the specialty lounge until May. The conversion to a concierge/suite/Zenith lounge began with Century in February and should be completed by the end of May 2014.

We're sailing May 10 on Millennium. Any idea if the conversion will be completed then?

I see cars listed in our local newspaper/TV daily for lease at $199/month. Then I go to the dealer and find out that price is only for ........ 'sorry, you do not qualify.' This is something that really is false advertising, too. However, I still lease a car since I want one and need one.

If you need a cruise or want a cruise, you must accept their terms or go else where.

We do have a choice.

Was their a disclaimer on the ad? Did we not learn in grade school to "read the fine print"? If there was not a disclaimer, then you are right, false advertising. BUT, odds are that somewhere on the ad it told you that some rebates are included in the price that you have to qualify for. Sue the Public School system for people who won't read the details, I say :)

Better yet go to the dealer, and do like you do at Walmart or the Apple Store: Pay the full sticker price, pay cash, and that's it. No false advertising needed then.

Has anyone recently returned on Silhouette and can let us know if the original Michaels Club concept -- the Boutique beers / Whiskies etc -- has been assimilated into the Cellar Masters area or any other area on the ship now that the Michaels Club is a no-go-zone for us 2nd class passengers?

Just off the Constellation yesterday. Michael's has been converted to PH, RS, CS and Zenith only.

It was wonderful. No offense meant to anyone but you get what you pay for.

Concierge was excellent. I highly recommend this experience.

What food was available in the new Michael's suites/zenith lounge?

Scaled down Elite breakfast offerings offered in Tuscan.

Continental breakfast with juices, same drink options such as bloody mary and mimosa.
