I wish P&O would send Britannia to the U.S. for some cruises. Aboard the Noordam in January, we shared a pier with Azura at Grand Turk. She sailed before we did and, as a witness to her sailaway party, it exceeded anything I have seen before. I think P&O might find an interested group of guests on this side of the pond if they were to re-think their scheduling and itineraries.

The atrium is beautiful, but in a different way from the Royal and Regal. I love how different the same class of ship can be.

Britannia has the Crow's Nest, a beautiful bar at the front of the ship with a lovely vista. There are cabins on the Royal/Regal where this is.

Wow! I've been watching Britannia and knew they were taking the interiors in a very different direction for po but that Crows Nest bar is what we at Princess have been DYING for. I think we princess diehards would love this kind of venue. We haven't had anything similar since the old star and the only semi-successful casino/lounge up top forward on the old Crown and Regal. Love love love. So wish this was in our future. Jealous.

I'm going to research the Brittania in more detail & noticed that like the Royal & Regal there are no stairs for passengers midship above deck 7. I'd probably also miss Gelato's & Alfredo's Pizzeria. ;)

 

It appears to be a very classy looking ship & something for me to consider. :)
