The vacation planner to me there are a bunch of specials being dropped. The is another one day sale tomorrow that I know nothing about.

Both of the cruises we're booked on went up hundreds of dollars overnight. I'd have to drink an awful lot of "free" booze to feel like the Sip and Sail was a good buy at those prices.

You are actually right , no Sale today (the 8th) , rate codes went from the Red/White & Blue Sale , back to Launch Early Booking Fares for the day .

Our January 10 night cruise on the Royal went up last night too....$500/pp more than we paid for our mini. Plus, we have $500 OBC. So much for free booze:eek: I'll keep what I have, thank you.

The fare for my Alaska cruise tour in June is up $100 today. I wonder how much more it will go up tomorrow in order to get a "deal" on the sale. I have many months until the cruise and will continue to monitor the fare but doubt there will ever be a drop in price.

Our fall Caribbean Princess cruise went up today too. We re-booked during the Red/White/Blue promotion and got first fare $349 and second fare half price $175, total $524 without taxes. Today it's back up to $449 per person, total $898 without taxes. Glad we rebooked, but will be interesting to see what tomorrow's sale brings.

 

We have NEVER sailed in an inside room, but the price was so cheap we're giving it a try. Then back to our usual mini-suite for 2016:)

Yep. Both our Dec 2015 Caribbean cruise and our April Asia cruise went up by several hundred dollars when all the sales (Red, White and Blue, Bucket List, etc) ended last night, and all the OBC's, 50% off fares and other perks ended, too.

I think you'll find it not so bad. I do balconies as a rule but grabbed an inside when I went solo on a casino promotion. It was just a short cruise, and when the bill came, Princess owed me $14. :D

 

I'm glad we booked the sale for Alaska when we did since the Red White and Blue sale gave us a good break. It was enough to allow us to take the kids, too. I'll see what tomorrow brings.

I don't drink enough to make the all inclusive drink package something of value to me. I wonder if I could opt for the value of the drink package as OBC instead. That would be of much more value to me.

 

You could opt for some OBC, but not the full value of the AIBP.

Doesn't look like much of a sale to me, our cruise next month is up $548, Hawaii in January is up $300 and the Baltics next May is up $219. Great marketing.....lousy results.

Darn, not a single one of my booked cruises is part of the promotion. But the prices didn't go up either. Upcoming: Coral 15 day Panama Canal, Royal B2B Feb/March, Regal 14 day Nov 2016, and Royal 20 day Feb 2017. And none of the Alaska cruises I would like to book either, although some Alaska cruises are. Oh wait, I don't care. I don't drink enough to make it anywhere close to worth while.

Just checked the 19 day Island RT Los Angeles Nov. 2016 and the MB mini looks like it has gone down by $400 PP and includes the promo. Hopefully I'm looking at this correctly. Will have the travel agent check it out in the morning.
