This will show on your on board account. Refundable OBC will be refunded to you after the cruise ends, we received a check in a plain envelope by mail. For non-refundable OBC we used the slots this past winter.
Rare gotta cruise again Posted July 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Of course, as you know, some will pay your gratuities so almost $200 (total) for 2 people on a 7-day...now you have less to spend! I'd not use any refundable credit, so if military on a 7-day, that's another $100 and you'll get that via a check. Now only a little over $300 left to spend! I'd use it for the for-fee restaurant, or a nice bottle of wine, or maybe splurge and go to the spa. As elite, you may have no interest or have already done the Ultimate Ship Tour. Or try to see if you can get most of it back via the casino...

moki'smommy Posted July 21, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 21, 2016 First, determine whether it is refundable or non-refundable. If refundable, you will get a check in the mail 4-6 weeks after the cruise. If non-refundable, you need to find something to spend it on. The only thing I know that MIGHT give you cash back on non-refundable is the casino. Otherwise, find something you will enjoy on board. As people have noted, tips will eat a chunk. Then shopping, spa, specialty dining,

WISH84 Posted July 21, 2016 #16 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Can't you just load a casino slot machine(s) and then without even playing transfer it your casino player bank and withdraw the cash from the cashier cage? If you do exactly as this post suggests, they will freeze your ability to use your card at the casino for the rest of the cruise. They want to see you gamble some of it. Trust me, I have first-hand experience with this. I asked and they reinstated my privileges but they made it very clear they were "watching me". How does one get back there OBC in cash. I use to us the casino slot game.......is that still available. Other options. We have $350 in OBC for Dec on Regal and have the bev pkg so little to spend it on. SO I did not prepay my tips which I normally do. That will eat up a good portion of our OBC. Whatever is left - I always buy pictures when on a new ship of us getting on and getting into each port. I buy a coffee mug and shot glass for each new ship we are on. If I have anything left, I will go and buy hubby a bottle of booze to use it up. certainly not leaving it unused!!!!!:p:p
RocketMan275 Posted July 21, 2016 #18 Share Posted July 21, 2016 The easiest way to "use up OBC" is to take your wife on the cruise. Mine assures me that we will never have excess OBC at the end of the cruise.

Thrak Posted July 22, 2016 #21 Share Posted July 22, 2016 I will never have this problem. We get the FCC OBC and the Shareholder OBC but no military OBC and we never have a problem with "leftover" OBC. On our next cruise the daily gratuities alone will be $672 for the two of us...
