Hi Syd; still no update on the CD however, the master is Capt. Jeroen van Donselaar

I went back a ways to see if anyone else had asked, but I don't find any mention, so Copper John, please - who will be the Captain on Koningsdam in October/November this year?  We have sailed with Captain Bowland a couple of times, just wondering if he will be on board then.

K-dam's master in Oct and Nov this year will be Capt. Werner Timmers

Delighted that the schedule has changed slightly! Means that Capt Noel will sail into Cork harbour with Hal's newest ship on September 17th. We will have to get the flags out for him.

Evenin Michael; I know Capt. Mercer will return for one more year and HD Henk Mensink and his wife Christel as GRM, have done "the world" for the last several years, so will no doubt also return. This year's CD is Hamish Davis however, it's still a bit early to know if he will be back in 2020

thanks a lot copper. you are a great source of information !!! i have done 3 world cruises so far,  2012, 14 and 17, all of them with the mercers and the mensinks, hal does not seem to have alternatives......

Thanks Michael and enjoy the 2020 GWV! Experience counts on those long ones all over the world  Case in point, Amsterdam's "tender stuck on the reef" at Arorangi, Cook Islands in 2016 and the personal efforts by Capt. Mercer, HD Mensink, and many others to get the pax safely out and back to mother
