InTheWASide Posted August 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Some pictures of Oosterdam after the big dry dock. My favorite is by far the Lido and Pinnacle Grill. Having been on this ship so many times I'm highly impressed with what they've done. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

frankc98376 Posted August 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 9, 2016 (edited) Love love love the PG. The dead guys and 100 pound chairs are gone. Our wedding lunch/reception was in the side room with the big table in Oosterdam PG. Edited August 9, 2016 by frankc98376

jabcruiser Posted August 9, 2016 #8 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Thanks for pics! Excited that Oosterdam will be in Tampa next year and looking forward to cruising on her (Tampa is my favorite port). Enjoyed our cruise last year before the update but she now looks fabulous. Jane
DeeniEncinitas Posted August 9, 2016 #9 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Great photos!!!!! Loved so much when her home port was San Diego!!! So easy to be on her for soooo many Sea of Cortez cruises, and Hawaii! Done 5 cruises on her and love the improvements now! Thank you again for your photos! EDLOS Posted August 9, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Sent from my iPhone using Forums I concur with the new dining décor, particularly with the seating in the Lido, very comfortable and most of all uncrowded, being able to push your chair back with without knocking into the chair behind you. Well done!!!

Tampa Girl Posted August 9, 2016 #15 Share Posted August 9, 2016 First, thank you for the pictures. The ship really looks great! We are looking forward to seeing it first hand on the November TA back to Tampa. I posted this question in a separate thread, but no one has yet answered. Please, what is the status of the library? Have they reduced it to seven books or is it the same as it had been, with actual novels and non-fiction?

jhannah Posted August 9, 2016 #17 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Very nice, indeed! Do you think all ships will be moving away from the traditional color schemes?

RuthC Posted August 9, 2016 #19 Share Posted August 9, 2016 I posted this question in a separate thread, but no one has yet answered. Please, what is the status of the library? Have they reduced it to seven books or is it the same as it had been, with actual novels and non-fiction? There was a picture of the library. From that one angle it appeared there were still plenty of books on the shelves. And plenty of shelves to hold books!
BVsmurfette Posted August 9, 2016 #20 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Thank you for posting pictures, much appreciated! We'll be on this ship in about 40 days and are a little bummed that we couldn't afford to stay in one of the newly renovated suites, but so glad that the upgrades in the rest of the ship are nice ones we can enjoy :)
TonyC1952 Posted August 9, 2016 #21 Share Posted August 9, 2016 We were on the Oosterdam just after the dry dock. It is beautiful, and the new Lincoln Center lounge with classical performances was superb. The library appeared fully stocked, and it was nice to have the Explorations Café in the Crow's Nest, so an afternoon coffee with the NY Times was wonderful. We're sailing on the Westerdam in a few months, so it'll be interesting comparing a "before" and "after". Thanks for posting the pics!
keikobad Posted August 9, 2016 #22 Share Posted August 9, 2016 Thank you very much for the pictures. Our cruise with her starts next Monday and now I look forward to it more than I already did. I am so glad they changed the chairs and design of the Pinnacle Grill. It looks very good now.
