Best scenery cruise

Hoping you frequent cruisers can help me out. I've been to AK and HI so not counting those gorgeous areas......

 

Where do you recommend for the cruise to see the most beautiful scenery? :confused:

 

I know that is so subjective but I'd love to hear your opinions..... I am wondering about Norway........

 

Would love to have various places to research......

What a GREAT question. I would be interested in this also. Someone did a review (cannot remember which ship) and one of the ports was Dubai. The pics that he posted just blew me away.

The Baltics was one of my favourites, the sail into Stockholm is beautiful.

I'm with Bob! Have done Alaska and it was beautiful (majestic is the word I'd use), but IMO the fjords of Norway were absolutely breathtaking. I'd do the fjords again in a New York minute.

Sailing in and out of Kotor, Montenegro was pretty fab - as well as Venice (and who knows how much longer cruise ships will be allowed through there). That said, I have been to New Zealand several times, though not on cruises, but the South Island is spectacular and I can only imagine how breathtaking it would be to sail into the sounds.

 

I'd love to do the Baltic as I think that would be spectacular as well... lots to choose from!

Norway, every time. Especially Geiranger. We've sailed the New Zealand sounds, the Baltic including Stockholm and Alaska, but Norway tops them all.

We have traveled Alaska by sea and land, Hawaii, South America Chilean Fjords, Norwegian Fjords, Kotor Montenegro, most of Australia, and no where is as beautiful as New Zealand's South Island. Fjordland National Park, Milford Sound, waterfalls galore. The most beautiful place.

We found the scenery of the Norwegian fjords and New Zealand absolutely stunning. Agree with Kernow, sailing into Stockholm was truly memorable.

Oh yes..........done it twice and waiting for RCI to do it again. The Delta is really beautiful when you go through at night and see the "Flares" burning off.

If top priority is scenery, a river cruise is hard to beat because there are beautiful things to see all along the route. We sailed the Elbe from Potsdam to Prague and it was fascinating.

 

But if you prefer an ocean cruise, then I agree that Norway is fantastic. Sailing out of Stockholm through the archipelago was the best sailaway ever.

 

My first world problem - so many great places to experience and not enough time to do so. :(

As far as scenery from the ship :

 

- Antarctica

- Norway

- The Stockholm Archipelago

- The Faroe Islands

 

 

Spectacular sailaways/ sail ins also include Malta and Venice
