Yes, us Canadians love to get away from winter! Oh, well, I have a cruise booked on the Prinsendam (in eighteen months!) to look forward to.

I know what I'm getting my favorite soon to be 3 year old for his for his birthday in April. I wish there was a plush Peter the Cruise Ship.

 

Rumor has it, he's writing more

 

Plus he's got the 'adult' books; the "Captain's Log" and the "Captain's Journal" - some funny stories in there

I was not aware of "The Captain's Journal". His other books I have purchased for myself, a friend, and the children's books for my the Son of one of my Nephew's.

It's a sequel (new stories, some very funny) to "the log" - You'll find it on Amazon. And, checking for it just now, I learned that he has a third one out "The Captain's Quest" - Didn't know about that one

Thanks for the info about Capt. Mateboer's books. I have ordered the Log and Journal from Abebooks to take on my next cruise. With the decline of the HAL libraries, I plan to take at least a dozen books on the world cruise. I wish I could like e-readers but I still prefer a "real" book.
