39august Posted July 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Does Celebrity use Havensight or Crown Bay in St. Thomas, please? RCI now uses only CB.

Rare keesar Posted July 15, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2017 From our experience, we have docked in Havensight on Celebrity. We docked at Crown Bay on RCCL.
cruza Posted July 15, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Does Celebrity use Havensight or Crown Bay in St. Thomas, please? RCI now uses only CB. Most of the time CB is used but you can check your sailing, see the schedule below:: http://www.**********/cruise/ship-schedule/8-2017/
Fouremco Posted July 15, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 15, 2017 I believe that the contract signed by RCCL (not RCI) includes Celebrity. A quick look at port schedules for this year shows only Crown Bay being used, and the Silhouette was certainly in Crown Bay when we were there in mid-March on the Allure. RodPat Posted July 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted July 15, 2017 When we were there on Summit this past April we docked at Crown Bay. Not as nice as Havensight but it is what is. Pat
phoenix_dream Posted July 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Last several times (over the past couple of years) we docked at Havensight, but it can change cruise to cruise
OCruisers Posted July 15, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 15, 2017 Always always now your Celebrity ship will dock at Havensight. :)
richsea Posted July 15, 2017 #10 Share Posted July 15, 2017 In the past, all of our Princess cruises stopped at Crown Bay, & all of our Celebrity sailings docked at Havensight. However, this year Princess docks at Havensight, and Celebrity visits Crown Bay.
davekathy Posted July 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted July 16, 2017 We were on the Jewel Of The Seas this April and docked at Crown Bay. Hated it! We hope Celebrity continues to dock at Havensight.
educator76 Posted July 16, 2017 #12 Share Posted July 16, 2017 When we were on the Silhouette in March and we were docked at Crown Bay we were told by Celebrity cruise crew and St Thomas merchants that Crown Bay had contracted with RCCL and Celebrity for the next 7 years at $7.00 a passenger cheaper than Havensight. Would love to go back to Havensight!
Rare keesar Posted July 16, 2017 #13 Share Posted July 16, 2017 I was really disappointed docking at Crown Bay a few years ago with RCCL. Our Celebrity ships have docked at Havensight which is a nice upgrade in my opinion.

Straughn Posted July 16, 2017 #15 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Silhouette, March 2017, we docked at Crown Bay. I have also heard stories that Royal signed a deal to bring all it's ships, including ~X~, to Crown Bay. I hope part of that deal includes serious infrastructure improvements. That place is the pits. Cap'n Ron Posted July 16, 2017 #16 Share Posted July 16, 2017 We docked in Crown Bay on the Equinox back in June. I have to say, I was not impressed with this location, and much prefer the Havensight location. Crown Bay was very industrial and it was very noisy sitting out on the balcony while docked. thebutlerdidit Posted July 16, 2017 #17 Share Posted July 16, 2017 Equinox docked at Crown Bay this week. We stayed on board, but crew told us the shuttles to the shipping area cost $4 or for $6 you can go to Havensight.
Mercruiser Posted July 16, 2017 #18 Share Posted July 16, 2017 The VI Now web site has a port calendar. It shows Equinox using Crown Bay through September. The November onwards calendar is not yet available. http://www.**********/cruise/ship-schedule/9-2017/ We are doing the "St. John's on Your Own" excursion on Summit in November. I'd prefer Havensight (West India Co.), but it doesn't really matter so much since the tour includes a private ferry ride from the cruise port to Cruz Bay. Mercruiser Posted July 16, 2017 #19 Share Posted July 16, 2017 I found a complete port schedule here http://wico-vi.com/cruise-ship-dock/ship-schedule-port-availability and here http://www.viport.com/seaports/vessels.html It does appear that X is using Crown Bay (Monsanto Marine Terminal) for all sailings, at least through Sep 2018, the end of the port calendar.
