paul929207 Posted July 21, 2017 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2017 Since our 20th Princess cruise, we have gotten OBC every cruise. It started at $25 and is now (43 cruises) up to $75. It is based on the number of cruise credits. In our case, cruise credits and cruises are the same. Those who sail in suites or solo, will pick up extra cruise credits. Knowing the type of champagne they give people it's hardly worth the trouble.:( We won of their bottles one time & after opening it at table no one would take a second glass. GRAYTech Posted July 22, 2017 #18 Share Posted July 22, 2017 Knowing the type of champagne they give people it's hardly worth the trouble... Yes, you could probably strip paint with the cheap stuff. It's OK with enough OJ mixed in for Mimosas. Our "freebie" was winning 22 bottles of the "paint thinner" doing the ring toss on a B2B. There were four of us and NO ONE else would show up to the competitions. It was only a one liner in the patter and often held early afternoon on port days. They would bring out 3 or 4 bottles and we just kept tossing until we won them all. This of course has been changed to a single bottle prize with many guests competing in the main IC area. The chance of winning one now is not very likely. It was truly a freebie if you could manage to choke it down.

neverbeenhere Posted July 23, 2017 #24 Share Posted July 23, 2017 Free Stuff, I'm guessing you are talking about stuff not guaranteed by loyalty status or winnings. We have received quite a bit over the years, most nice gestures. T-Shirts, drinks, flowers, three ceramic ship models, free pictures, three or four Special dining, many bottles of wine, many many Captain's tables, wine tastings, ship/bridge tours, other trinkets, swag and crap. Some of the items were related to "knowing" staff members, some because we were in the right place at the right time, still others are because I'm sooooo good looking.:D
