No, you used to get the blocks under the old rules too. However if it was the maths of the conversion from credits to points in Jan 2011 that put you at 140 and not a physical cruise then you do not get a block.

 

If credits were 1-4, points = credits * 7 + 1

If credits were 5-7, points = credits * 7 + 3

If credits were > 7, points = credits * 7 + 13

We were over 140 when the C&A conversion occurred. We were told no block since it was a new policy, have they changed their policy?

You could just email C&A and tell them you never got your block and you would like one. I would include the ship you were on so it makes it easy for them to just send one out rather than have to investigate.

In 6 weeks, we've gotten 5 blocks.

I got two from Serenade (six months later!) sent to me due to being out of stock on the ship. Should have been just one, so I gave the other one to my sister who did her honeymoon on the ship. Nice souvenier for her!

It's the ship they are on when they pass the milestone point: 140, 210, 280 ... every 70 points starting at 140.

140 points is between Diamond and Diamond Plus.

D+ starts at 175, blocks at 140.

If it's the same ship on which you passed the milestone you missed, then it cannot hurt to ask.
