Whats your favorite slot machine?

Recommended Posts

I been reading posts for years, but nobody really asked anybody what is their favorite slot machine on RC cruises. Curious what they are anybody want to tell?

I like Jackpot Inferno & High Voltage... they are fun when you can play a while... High Voltage likes to go for long periods without a bonus. (well except when someone else is playing, then it seems to go into bonus every other spin:rolleyes: )

Yes, I have a favorite. The reason is that I am not much of a gambler. It has a very low number of lines and therefore I can play a long time on $20. Often several days. LOL But, I am not giving the name of the machine.

I have one like this, and there never seems to be anyone playing it. Luckily I have found it on most of the ships... and I am with you.. not sharing that one.

It is definitely not the Slot Machine they make you use when they give you those “Free Spin” coins. I have dozens of key chains that I won on those Slot Machines.

I’ve never even won a keychain [emoji33]

I always liked "Fortune Cookie" but it is an older machine that you rarely see anymore. Last time I was on Brilliance they had 2 or 3 of them though. I was supposed to be on AOS out of PR on 9/30 but that cruise was cancelled. I was hoping they had my Fortune Cookie! lol Now we are on Allure in November and because it is such a new ship, I know they won't have it. I don't like the new machines so I probably won't play slots on this cruise (other than the slot tournament).

Has anyone actually won (or seen anyone win) anything good from those???

I won a t-shirt last week on Explorer which was much better than prizes on my last several cruises. On those cruises, you signed your name on the back of the ticket and put it in this huge box. On the last night, they drew one ticket for a $100 prize. WHOOHOO! Chance of one in probably a thousand to win.

I'll take the t-shirt.

In my opinion, RC needs to add newer machines. Oasis class (and probably Q class) have more modern machines but the older ships have crappy machines that most people have never heard of before. They would get more of my money if they had any machines that actually interested me. As it is, I usually get bored in the casino very quickly on the ships other than OA class.

Even oasis class machines are SO OLD. There were some where the reels were so faded and janky looking. They could do better.

Generally speaking, I've found the slot machines on cruise ships to be black holes for my money ... that said, I'm still a gambler and will play them during the cruise, but I've noticed they *SEEM* to be a tad more generous earlier in the cruise and then tighten up worse than a snare drum later in the cruise.

As a poster earlier mentioned, if I will gamble on a cruise ship, I'll play Craps or Poker ... trying to keep the House Advantage to a bare minimum.
