davekathy Posted February 2, 2018 #202 Share Posted February 2, 2018 ...For our Cozumel day we did Nachicocom (more to come) and I went in about knee deep to see how warm/cold the water was for about 3-4 minutes - in that time I got stung by a Jelly Fish. They had no vinegar or anything for a sting (odd since they had a kitchen) - the lady asked if I wanted to go to the hospital - I was like - no - just an annoying sting. Here is this morning about 50 hours later and it still hurts. Sent from my iPhone using Forums You do realize there is another option that is a effective treatment (not speaking from personal experience) if there isn't anything else?:D;)

clj7181 Posted February 2, 2018 Author #204 Share Posted February 2, 2018 You do realize there is another option that is a effective treatment (not speaking from personal experience) if there isn't anything else?:D;) Urine is an old wives tail - and if didn’t hurt that bad. Fortunately just a small jelly fish. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Fouremco Posted February 2, 2018 #206 Share Posted February 2, 2018 There's a good article on jellyfish stings in this Divers Alert Network (D.A.N.) article: https://www.diversalertnetwork.org/medical/faq/Jellyfish_Stings Urine is definitely NOT the appropriate solution, but became a popular misconception following an episode of Friends wherein Monica gets stung. davekathy Posted February 2, 2018 #208 Share Posted February 2, 2018 ...episode of Friends wherein Monica gets stung. Exactly my thought when I posted. I wasn't trying to be serious. I guess my attempt at being witty and clever along with the emoji symbols didn't come across as funny as it did in my own mind.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums I agree with the others, and also think you deserve some kind of medal for putting up, with grace, with all the "can you take a picture of this?" and "how much is that?" sort of questions. I know it took a lot of time and effort to do what you did. Tom & Judy

Fouremco Posted February 2, 2018 #217 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Do you have to have a spa pass to get to the aqua spa cafe? No, it's available for everyone. With Aqua cabin category, the spa and the Aqua Spa Cafe, it can be quite confusing, but the Cafe has nothing to do with the other two. Go and enjoy it! :)

TeaBag Posted February 2, 2018 #219 Share Posted February 2, 2018 The grilled chicken/salmon is gone from the Spa Cafe menu, unfortunately. It was so good. We were told in October that it is up to the hotel director. Obviously he doesn't want it there. They had lots of little cold plates that were good but we never went back after the first time. This used to be our go to place on embarkation day. Thank you clj for all your great pictures and comments. Safe journey home.
cynbar Posted February 2, 2018 #220 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Do you have to have a spa pass to get to the aqua spa cafe? The aqua spa cafe is near the Sanctuary pool on Silhouette, accessible to everyone. It's no where near the spa, actually.
