Someone earlier in the day posted the updated photo of Mr Edge. I looked at previous photos... the glass looked about 18" or more lower than it is now. I am basing that on one photo taken at a long range and one other closer shot. I can now sleep. I am telling you... give me your problem and I will worry for you. Also, I am really great at funerals of total strangers... you would swear I was a close relation... just how I am wired I guess. Hope you are having a great time. I keep seeing comments on facebook about the cabin seeming narrower than other cabins... but I think that the fact that the cabin is actually longer makes it look narrower... Also lack of curtains which can add the illusion of height might also impact perception of size. I can not wait until our cruise. We are liking the IV so far! More than I thought!😀❤️

Please, enjoy every single moment of your cruise onboard Edge! It’s definitely a wonderful ship! I will be sailing on the 29th... I had a question regarding drinks. Are they complimentary on this cruise? Or at a fee like usual. Sorry if this seems a bit of a stupid question 😂 but I just wanted to be sure! Enjoy Le Petit Chef! They are free!!! I asked how top shelf they will go and not too Top but I’ve been getting Patron!! They will give us 50% off all bottles so we may get a nice bottle that we otherwise wouldn’t. 🙃 we got the expensive drinks in Eden free too! What a fun place that is - very nice bartenders! My bed is pretty hard - maybe I’ll sneak down to the solarium. No small tables next to lounge chairs so where do you put a drink, book, etc.? Noticed the same thing at the pool deck. The second photo looks like double loungers.

Rare Smmessineo Posted November 26, 2018 #161 Share Posted November 26, 2018 Hi VT! Thanks so much for all the info and photos! I am so happy for you.....after so much time planning, investigating, imagining.....you’re finally onboard! The ship looks beautiful. I am vowing to book a voyage on her next month while I’m on the Equinox. My husband is also one of the “just tell me the date and give me a suitcase and I’m ready” guys. Once onboard, he needs a drink, a cigar and decent internet and he’s happy ! So....my question is....is there a cigar smoking area at the Sunset Bar as on S-Class ships? Enjoy, enjoy , enjoy your sailings ! Margaret

caroak Posted November 26, 2018 #165 Share Posted November 26, 2018 (edited) If my recollection is correct Crystal and Oceania had some small side tables but those ships are a lot smaller and a lot less passengers. AtlantaCruiser72 Posted November 26, 2018 #169 Share Posted November 26, 2018 I know I have seen small tables between some pool side loungers on both HAL and Princess, which are direct competition to Celebrity. Maybe not on all ships, or by all pools, but they definitely have them! Royal Princess Main Pool Konigsdam Main Pool

It really is challenging to keep logging on and on and reading stuff in another conversation... I'm anxious to see pictures of THE EDGE, have plenty of pictures of every other cruise line out there and if not we can google it! vtcruising Posted November 26, 2018 Author #174 Share Posted November 26, 2018 (edited) Sorry that I haven’t answered all posts in order. I have 200 posts to go though from all threads and have been so busy. LPC was fun- menu different than original but good. Didn’t care for the dessert . There are 2 choices.but only one that goes with the story. Our waitress was top notch and kept filling our wine glasses. I love wine with dinner but I don’t usually have more than 2 glasses. I got caught up in the excitement and that’s why I didn’t do any posts last night. ☺️ The plan today is to go to Nassau and they Will give the manifest to the authorizes to satisfy the foreign port visit requirement. We will stay on ship and be there 4-5 hours. We can go out on a tender ride to tour around the outside of the ship, if we want to so we will do that- really looking forward to it. 😀 Here is the schedule for today. We are going to be very busy and I will do my Thermal Suites too. A few things: My DH loves the pool!! He swam laps and said it was delightful. Best on a cruise ship! The IV control panel tripped be up already. I woke up at 1 am too hot so went to turn the temp down and hit the wrong button. The shade went up (makes a noise) and every light came on ( I hit the “morning” button). Then I started punching buttons to stop the shade and turn off the lights. My DH slept through the whole thing! Pretty funny! The storage is pretty good. There are 3 drawers in main cabin and 3 in closet. There is also some storage under the coral. There is no top drawer above refrig as it looks - just a fridge in there. It has a code lock on it. The safe is in closet and it seems a little smaller than usual. I will try to measure today. BTW, I don’t find the cabin sterile. Plugs by bed - people use too one for CPAP Door hanger 😀 View of MC Edited November 26, 2018 by vtcruising

Enjoy, enjoy , enjoy your sailings ! Margaret There is a smoking are on the starboard side of the Sunset Bar. I noticed. I am assuming they allow cigars per usual. I haven’t see a smoking policy yet. I will try to find one. That Sunset Bar was hopping last night at sailaway. There are TAs from all over (other countries than US) and there was a helicopter zooming around us taking aerial photos. We stopped about 4 miles out from port for the photo shoot. Every time they would swoop down we would all shout and wave. My DH was on the IV when it pulled next to us to shoot the MC- luckily he was dressed!! 1
