Aqua upgrade question

I upgraded from a normal balcony cabin to a Aqua class balcony cabin for an additional $150pp.  Was that any good?  Would you have done it?

Absolutely!  I’d jump at an upgrade for only $150 pp to be in Aquaclass. Enjoy!

So, in aqua you get some cabin amenities like the shower and no fog bathroom mirror. You also get admission to the persian gardens.

BUT, the big ooh-ahh is the restaurant. You will now be dining in Blu and not the mdr. It’s anytime dining, and widely considered better food and service. Enjoy!

The price is right.  But I would check the room location.  Do a review on the room number as some of the less desirable cabins are in Aqua on S-class ships.

Wow - great price to upgrade! Unfortunately the (UK) booking contract I has allows for absolutely no changes (upgrades included!), else I would need to cancel, lose my deposit and rebook.

 

I find it odd, as I'd be paying them more money for an upgrade, and they could sell the cabin I was vacating to someone else.

 

Would be nice if it was an option. Enjoy! 🙂

For a 7-day, $150 to upgrade to AQ is a good price (less than the cost of a dining package to upgrade your dining for the full 7 nights). Enjoy!

We managed to get an Aqua Class upgrade last week at a price less than the veranda cabin - I didn't believe it until we had the new confirmation. We needed three cabins and ended up with some of the less preferred ones, but it's worth it to dine in Blu again. I would have paid $150 for that! :)

We are big AQ fans.

We really enjoy Blu for both Breakfast and Dinner.

I use the Persian Gardens each afternoon before dressing for dinner.

Thanks so much for posting!!  I had a free upgrade to A1, but after your note and then looking at reviews on sticky I have downgraded my cabin to A2 due to the overhang.

How does the upgrade process work? We're in an Aqua cabin in April on the Summit. How do we find out if we can bid for a suite?
