Grouchyeve Posted April 13, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 13, 2019 Can I get an iron and ironing board in the cabin? I know I can’t take a travel iron or steamer.

Rare chemmo Posted April 13, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2019 No, but there is a laundry service that offers pressing.
XtaSea Posted April 13, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 13, 2019 On Celebrity if you want something ironed you have to send it to the laundry...there are no irons allowed and there are no rooms with irons and boards. Try to sneak one aboard and there's a good chance they'll find it and confiscate it. We tend to fold carefully with tissue paper and then place in large zip lock bags. You can use steam from the shower, or Wrinkle Release, or even try to put in a crease with a flat iron (allowed). We tend to send out very wrinkled items for pressing. On the other hand, most people wear wrinkled clothing and compensate with a drink package. After a couple of shots everything looks good. 7

TeaBag Posted April 13, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 13, 2019 Yes, wrinkles are such a problem. I've tried going down to the laundry to get them taken out but it's no good. They're in my face, you see. 4

cheeseheads4ever Posted April 14, 2019 #14 Share Posted April 14, 2019 We have had good luck rolling our clothes before putting in suitcase. Not sure we've ever needed an iron? We usually look pretty decent and we are generally wrinkle free. I think my DW rolls certain fabrics with certain fabrics. Seriously it works and we never have issues... Hope this helps some. mek Posted April 14, 2019 #15 Share Posted April 14, 2019 I pack my suitcases very tightly and use a rolling garment bag for things that need to be on hangers. Everything shakes out fine once it's unpacked. I avoid things that wrinkle easily like linen when traveling

Linen especially, but 100% cotton, too. Luckily, fabric blends look as good and don't hold wrinkles as badly. Rolling and packing cubes combined with Downy wrinkle releaser takes care of most remaining issues.
