Can anyone post a scan or photo of 2019 Winelist by glass PLEASE

This has to  be the hardest info to discover. Celebrity only lists "examples" (Merlot, Cabernet, etc on their Beverage package flyer. I know the classic package is good for wines up to $9,00 glass. The prices are on the wine list for MDR and some bars, but I can't find a scan. It's a popular question and I'd REALLY appreciate it - others would too - if someone could scan it or take a jpg of it when on a Celebrity Ship.

Be aware, that different ships have different wine lists. Some ships have different restaurants and each had its own wine list.  This is a wonderful start, but it is not complete. Even if you find a wine list that is current, by October it could be all different.

Also just because they have a wine listed does not mean they will have in onboard.

I know but it gives me an idea of how many wines are $9 or under. Interesting that on the list above there are no MERLOTs. Good to see that not a lot of Calif ones. I did a google search on some reds and they sell for $8.99 to as high as $12.00 bottle on line. You can tell that X is not breaking the bank. MOST of my drinking is cappucino and lattes and I know I can get with skim milk at a bar or in dining room. The "Machine" in Captains club doesn't offer that. (and I can add liquor too with my Classic Bev Pkg) Also, unlike RCI the Captains Club HH is only till 7:30 and I sometimes want a drink at the show.

But this does show me a sample of what's being offered and how many (or few) are covered in the Premium Beverage Package (See how many wines are between $9 and $15 - cap for Premium)

The Captains Club Happy Hour is 5-7 not 7:30.  Not sure what machine you are talking about as there is no dedicated Captains Club space on any Celebrity ship.

Steveinphilly....are you thinking, perhaps, of the Diamond Lounge on Royal?  There is no equivalent space on Celebrity and no selfserve cappuccino machine either

There are wines not listed on menus.  I have been in the MDR and there was no Sauvignon Blanc listed for my Classic Package price point.  But every time I order it I am given a glass.  I don’t remember all the different wines...Villa Maria was one...

Actually, there IS a merlot- Columbia Crest (Wa. State) and it's quite nice.

You were lucky to get Villa Maria (or any NZ sauv. blanc) in the classic package. Usually they give you a mediocre Chilean SB.

We love experimenting with the wine package! Before we had a package we would choose a ‘safe’ bottle, something we knew and that would be OK with both starters and entree and with both our different food choices.

 

Now we will try lots of different wines, the sommeliers in Tuscan and Murano’s are great at matching wines to your food choices...We never ask for the wine menu in these venues just ask for recommendations.

 

Re cocktail hour on Celebrity, whilst not as long as RC’s we find it has a much nicer ambience...More about socialising than getting free drinks!

Thanks all. Ill stock with classic. But noticed on the summit list that quite a few reds exceed then$15. Max for even premium. But I'm really on the cruise for the destinations so things will be fine. Ibwascjust surprised that none of the mostvasked questions via Google us: where can I find the wine price list.

Be advised, just because something is on the list doesn't mean they have it in stock all the time.  Didn't used to be the case but we encountered that several times recently (same with beer).  But there are always some reasonable options.

Looking at the wines one of my go to whites is on it elks cove Pinot Gris.  Hope this is true when I’m on the reflection in November.   It’s under premium price so I would be a very happy camper. But like many I work with the sommelier to try to find ones i like and branch out.

Hubby and I are novice wine drinkers and we are sailing on Reflection with the premium package. We would like to have pairings for our meals chosen by the sommelier for dinner in MDR. Can we ask him/her to choose wines that are included in the premium package? Also, do we tip him and if so, should we tip each night or on the last night?  

Also, is there a cocktail waiter for the MDR? Hubby likes an after dinner drink.

Your sommelier will pair wines to your food, so no worries there.

 

there is also a bar waiter who will get liquor, beer, soft drinks.  

 

They have both been tipped already when you when you get the beverage package but they will all appreciate extra tips.

You only ever tip on the last night of a cruise. You might want to check to see if your deal already includes all gratuities. If you have a  favourite bar that you drink in you may want to tip the barman early on in the cruise to improve your chances of getting good service during the cruise (Not that the service is bad, it's usually quite good anyway).

Back to the published wine list - in my experience the sommeliers have wines that aren’t on the list. Just ask. I have also found that Cellar Masters (if the ship still has it) is a great place to try new things.

Happy to see the Decoy cab on the list. DH will be disappointed with no New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs listed. Hoping there will be Villa Maria on the Equinox in November when we board. We have had it on more than one Celebrity cruise and been happy with it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
