Best cocktails

Hi!

 

My sister and I are on the Sun on August 19th and she would like to try some new drinks.  Any recommendations?  She prefers drinks without a lot of sugar. 🙂

Not a new drink, but new to me on the Bliss:  Aperol Spritz.  Light, very non-sugary, fizzy.  Had several in the atrium bar.

I see a challenge afoot with this list.   Scoring points for each one of these consumed over a 7 day cruise.

Another all time favorite is a Chocolate Martini.

Rebellious Fish.  Make them at home.  The Russian Standard Vodka and Cointreau are a bit pricey, but well worth it.

I'm a simple man on vacation.

Bloody Mary's from 9am until lunchtime and beer for the balance of the day.

I have had Bloody Mary's served to me with a garnish that included a strip of bacon and that was my favorite.

Can't wait for the Joy in January!!!

We always order a Blue Lagoon as our first drink outside when we cruise on Norwegian but I think that there is lots of suger in it!

The Aperol Spritz is perfect for warm evenings.  I am gonna be in Venice over the 4th of July, and no one does the Aperol Spritz better than that city.  I'll tip a few to my NCL friends.  Cheers.

OK Dave. Details as I love this drink. Is this the recipe although I can't find one that includes Cointreau as an ingrediant? And what about using Grey Goose or similar vodka in place of the Russian Standard?

 

REBELLIOUS FISH

 

• Ingredients:
• 1/2 oz. Passion Fruit Liqueur
• 1 oz. Vodka
• 1/4 oz. Orange Liqueur
• 2 oz. Orange Juice
• Sparkling Wine (for topping)

 

 

• Garnish:
• Fresh Berries

 

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients, except the sparkling wine, into a mixing glass filled with ice. Shake well, strain and pour into a 12 oz. highball glass filled with fresh ice. Top with sparkling wine, garnish with fresh berries and serve.

@Warm-Water DiverThis is the recipe that I have in the above Beverage list. I actually got this recipe from NCL. I should have had a picture in the official souvenir glass. I like it when the bartender uses fresh berries for garnish. Enjoy.
