This year I loaded a family of three and a friend of theirs in the Jeep. We were all laughing after the fact. 

 

Last year it was laps at Atlanta.  It’s really pretty cool.

Im on the cruise next Sunday and were headed Eastern too.  May or may not.  I will be following along to see if you post any reroute information and wishing a great cruise  🙂    my anixety is through the roof lol   I dont think I will be booking another September cruise.    I just hope to get on the ship next Sunday!  I will be arriving in PC on Friday.

I did the Richard Petty thing at AMS, it was fun.

My lap average was 149

Awesome. Difference was we were paced so we were limited to speed in our street cars. You would have been in a fully caged track car. We had a pace car in the front off 15 cars and a LEO bringing up the rear 2 behind me. Bristol is one of, if not the shortest NASCAR track on the circuit and has 30 degree banks on the corner.

Thankfully we have found refuge after a great lunch. Our flight was originally scheduled to depart at 2:30. It’s now pushed back to a 4:20. Thank goodness we didn’t decide to go to Disney today.

Photo of our post security discussion with a friend.  It was Owen that got the one over. His iPad was what they were looking at. 

 

 

 

 

We have never had an experience like that before. Needless to say we are through and done. And any hangry has been resolved. Now our scheduled landing time is 7:11, when originally it was 5:05. The joys of travel.

It’s Random it seems, but my boss was singled out in 17 flying back to the US from Barcelona. No reason, just random choice. They required me to board the plane, I couldn’t wait for her. They went through almost everything, asked a bunch of questions she thought were very stupid. Must be standard questions.

We had had to take apart Owen’s Otter Box Defender case on his iPad. Thankfully they gave me a tool to open it with. Otherwise it was a no go. They are hard to take apart.

Finally, on the plane.

 

Let’s this thing loaded and going. Owen and Lisa are ready. It’s like people have never done this before. Just watched someone try to take a seat in row one, thinking it was open to who ever. 

 

I think they went went back to row 28.
