$52.99 for Cococay water park

I just noticed that the price is now $52.99 for our cruise in February 2020. I haven't been looking at it that closely, but I think that's a good price. Am I right?

Yep. If you're into water slides and a pretty decent wave pool...it's good price. In fact, I doubt it'll get cheaper

Someone over the weekend posted that it was $93.99 pp in their cruise planner.

The $93.99 price is what it has been for awhile.  Way back when it was $64.99.  Haven't seen it any cheaper than that price.  We are on the Symphony in Feb 2020.  All the prices are pretty high on PD @ CC.

Okay, sounds like this is the time to buy. One more question. Our 13 year-old son is the only one who's really interested in it. He will be fine to do the slides on his own while we chill on the beach or around the pool in the free areas, right? My understanding is that he can come and go from the water park with the full day pass.

Keep in mind that an adult will also be required to purchase admission to the water park to accompany the 13-year old.  So it will basically be $106 for the 13-year old to use the water park, if he is the only one using it.

What if we only want to walk around and do nothing on this island? Not interested in any of the rides

nor swimming just walk We are 70 years old. Love to see the island but doesn't make sense to pay

to do only that. Can we just walk on the beach for free?

ours is listed at $88.99 for the Harmony in February. I think we'll be passing and doing whatever is free, especially after losing our perks for our neighborhood balcony.

That is about the cost for our water park here at home so I say go for it.

You do not have to pay to walk around the island or use the pools.

Yes..there's actually a lot to do at CocoCay with no charge.  There's even a kiddie splash park area that's outside of the water park which is free.  The Oasis Lagoon pool is free.  All of the beaches are free and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas available at zero cost.  Snack Shack and the Chill Grill dining is free.

They just listed the water park on my sailing , Empress January 2020 and its $79.99
