Dear Friends,

We took you along on our cruise in April 2019 by posting our daily reports. Now we have combined the photos etc. as a travelogue on our blog/website.

Maybe you will enjoy reading it again - or for the first time.

Sit back, relax and travel to beautiful Japan with us!

Oliver!

LOVED, LOVED, it! OMGOODNESS such a wonderful well put together outstanding

documentation of your cruise. From the beginning at the airport going to Japan and the fantastic pictures of all the people and the food blew me away!! My husband on business has traveled over there and enjoyed it I have never been. The timing of the year with the great weather👍 Was perfect! Sorry for the long Thank you, but I enjoyed this over my coffee this am and I’m ready to cruise over there.

I absolutely enjoyed everything -- beautiful pictures.

Japan was on our bucket list many years but then DH had a heart attack and 2 unsuccessful surgeries -- so that ended going there.

😞I’m sorry KK to hear that! I sure hope DH is much better now!

Wasn't this a great report? I felt like I was there!

Your photos are fabulous and now I want to go to Japan. 🙂

I suspect you might be aware of this by now, but the reason that HAL doesn't allow you to self-serve most things in the buffet is to keep us all well.  In our opinion, this is a huge plus for HAL and it means we eat in the buffet more often than we do on any other cruise line.  It's not a negative. It's a positive.

Oh, don’t get me wrong... it was not a complaint but only an observation.

Thank you for such a well done review.  We were on the same cruise and it brought back so many wonderful memories.  We stayed on the ship and took her back to Vancouver and a couple more ports in Northern Japan.  We will be on her again in December- 14 days from and back to Hong Kong.
