I’m currently on the Oasis. To make HDMI work:

First, plug in your cable and turn on the device (I’m using my Macbook for Netflix). On the bottom TV is one button. It turns the TV on and off, but also does other things. If you press it, a menu appears on screen. Cycle by pressing the button to “sources”. Once there, do a long press. HDMI will be selected.

I guess this should work with your Fire TV as well.

Thank you for this! There should be a sticky for tips like this.

Not sure, place is empty. Nice and quiet. Same with SL so far. Chef made us stir fry tonight. It was not as good as I would have hoped.

One downside here is they did not add the stir fry stations to WJ like Harmony and Symphony

MDR tomorrow night is Asian pork taco's and rack of lamb👍

Had stir fry in the WJ on Mariner last week.  Wonderful!!  🙂 I used to love the live stations in the WJ on Oasis.  Not enough pax taking advantage of it?

I take a leisurely right at the fountain and walk to the next street.  You will find Tastee Patties there.  The same parties that the vendor in the port sells.  Beef patties are about $1.45 american.

Hmmm...have to check that out as well.  Sure did like our meat patties at Spicey Nice though!  😘

Studio B on day 5 has the RED nightclub party.

BTW, does anyone here know why they named the ice rink venue Studio B?

Yes! That was what they called it. It was on day 7 on the Jan 5 sailing though.

Oasis never really had them, just portable ones.

Harmony and Symphony have permanent ones

That was one of my guesses

Mine as well, that is an easy 10-15 minute cut that is no longer in any of the Staged productions.

So if you remove the intermission and take out Growltiger, you lose the 35(ish) minutes from the show.

Whichever way, I will wait until Friday to start our CATS discussion.

Oh, I'm so excited about this! I always LOVE your reviews. And, the occasional appearance of sweet Bella makes it even better.

Since you asked nicely

Lunch in CK was spectacular.  3rd menu in 3 days. Glad to see she didn't drop all the variety.

No crowd at all

I guess everyone went to Labadee

Today was grilled prawn starter, carmelized scallips with risotto main, and almond basket mousse for dessert.

I may try and get a full set of lunch menus and post them.

Went to 7pm One Sky. It was odd. Some of the numbers reminded me of Flight, they kept the plane from Fly With Me Show, and had one number where they were in lingerie, in bed, and then started doing aerials.

I spent most of show trying to guess which CATS roll the performers would do in a few days.🤔🐱

Heard Bloody Sunday, then left. Bono had a bum leg, so he just chair danced. Very odd

Ended evening with Caribbean party on Promenade and a slice or two from Sorrento.

Very good

Forgot to add that Coastal Kitchen has been both fabulous and under utilized. Its never more than half full. Suite Lounge is the same.

The staff is bending over backwards to get us to come back. Custom stir fry on Monday, they brought us lamb tonight so we didn't go to MDR, etc...

They even made Laura blueberry pie.

A+ for effort

B- for execution

BTW, as with most Oasis ships, MTD doesnt start until after 6:30,  so CK is just convenient.

Follow up to the question on handicap seating.

Deck 5 Opal Theater also uses back row for scooter parking and companion seating.

Music Hall is about 75% fully accessible.  The other parts require a couple of steps
