kalos Posted December 24, 2020 #11526 Share Posted December 24, 2020 Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse, Do you know why? Because none of us were allowed out, Looked out into the street and no Christmas decorations about, Looked out of the window and what did I see ? A spread out group of six people in two sets of three, What tier is it today, Tier 4 or Tier 3? A new strain of Covid coming to a town near me ! It was then that Santa slid down our chimney pot Cause let's face it I'm all alone and my friends can't visit a lot, Santa finally came and what did he bring ? A sack full of vaccines, some toilet paper, lettuce and things, He came prepared with extra hand wash in his stocking, because he knew that our friend Boris was having a lock in, We sat and we cheered opening presents all night! As we talked and reminisced about this year's cancelled cruises and flights, Up on the roof, his red nosed reindeer was seated, keeping their distance by approximately 2 metres, Soon it became time, for Santa Claus to go, he could not stay under new rules on Tier 4,he had to go he flew up the chimney and I said, "When will you be back?" He replied 'Hopefully in a year's time... that's providing no one eats bat !" 6

The size of the catering market for chicken is enormous, with very little legislation relating to point of origin. Are you suggesting that importers have been bringing in produce that does not conform to EU standards surely that would have been illegal.

jeanlyon Posted December 24, 2020 #11539 Share Posted December 24, 2020 Ha ha, Graham and Avril. Only the two of us, but hey, we can enjoy. Just called my friend, Shirley, she of the wonderful voice who sang in the sixties and we met on a cruise. She's on her own and yesterday she was really down, but today, thanks to South Devon Counselling 🤣 is feeling much better, has poured a glass of Merlot and will survive.

jeanlyon Posted December 24, 2020 #11543 Share Posted December 24, 2020 Yes and if Andrew is around, he will know who I am talking about. She has a voice to die for. A Vera Lynn Soundalike. She's 84 and can still sing just like that.

A lads' afternoon, but I love both despite some of the language. Not a Top Gear fan, it’s gone too silly for me but I love Gordon, Gino and Fred! Watched the Lapland one yesterday, some gorgeous scenery!

We will probably eat and drink too much! I keep thinking tomorrow is a Sunday. 🥳🥂🎉 🎁 Just had a message that our little grandson insisted on taking Rudolph’s carrot to bed with him 😃😱 5
