That’s lovely Graham

Do you look after it all or do you get someone in?  What about when you are (were) on a cruise?

Wednesday walk today.  Looking forward to an amble and a ramble and a gossip with the group.  Pub lunch after

kalos is late on parade this morning, so here’s one I just found

A man stopped me in the High Street yesterday and asked if I knew where he could get a wig

I said not off the top of my head

Have a good day.  Enjoy the weather

We look after the gardens ourselves thanks.

It is currently 17°C and sunny with a high of 22°C expected later.

Pauline gets her second Astrazeneca vaccine jab later today.

Graham.

Beautiful front garden graham but a lot of work keeping them bushes in trim 🙂

Thank you.

Pauline particularly likes gardening and we have a hedge trimmer which makes light work of shaping the conifers.

Once a year a guy calls to cut and trim 25 large conifers in the back.

They have blended into a hedge and are about 15 feet high and give us privacy.

Off for a stroll along front at Cleethorpes today,  finishing, hopefully, with a pint at the world's smallest pub, followed by a fish and chip lunch, booked for 13:25 precisely!

In a radical move, we have transferred our fish and chip allegiance from Papa's to Steel's Corner House !

A very nice day for it, enjoy your day and hope you get to ride the lollipop train whilst your

fish and chips settles :classic_love:

It has been a lovely day and we have had no rain for several days so we had to get the hosepipe out again.

This is our front garden.

Ahh.....that great rivalry between the two best places in Cleethorpes. We used to like the Captain’s Table, but I suspect Papa’s did for it.

Wife not keen on the ambience in Steel’s - reckons it’s too old fashioned, crowded and claustrophobic. Social distancing has probably changed that!

Tesco frozen haddock fillets in breadcrumbs for the present. Excellent, but not the same.

Certainly not crowded now! It's more akin to Cunard, whilst Papas is P&O ! Port Royal would feel right at home there!

We had our conifers at the front taken out earlier this year, I had let them get a little out of hand.

Replaced them with Boxus which are very slow growing and much less work.

We still have a large sceen of about 25 Conifers at the back which gives us privacy.

I still manage to trim them annually but it gets harder each year, will probably soon  have to start getting someone in has I get older.

Ignore above, fat fingers !

We sold ten years ago because garden was too large to manage. Pleased we did, our present one is a quarter of the size and that's getting hard to manage, age eh  !!

Another lovely day so it's on the patio, love this weather !

Stay safe.

We called at a Papas near to Scarborough, have to agree it was awful, are they part of a chain?, if so there is also one near to Beverly.

Our 2021 holiday at home continues

Just cheese & biscuits this evening but with the bonus of a T20 Blast cricket match on TV

One has to take one’s pleasure where one can these days 🙂

We had a good chat on the walk.  I’d say the group was divided 50/50 over sticking to the hoped-for dates in the lockdown roadmap and waiting for a few weeks to see how things go (that was the humans; the dogs had no opinion.  They are enjoying their lives now, with lots of company and lots of walks)

Pauline has had her second Astrazeneca jab and no tears yet.

We called into TK Max then had lunch alfresco.

Great news that Pauline now double jabbed. Hope you celebrated with something naughty to eat or drink!

That’s the one:

https://papasfishandchips.com/

We’ve never been let down when we visit that area. Sometimes Cleethorpes, sometimes Willerby. Personal thing, though, fish and chips. We go there as much as anything for the restaurant setting.
