Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 13, 2020 #1052 Share Posted September 13, 2020 Feeling lazy like this guy, who was outside by the garden this morning. Just watching the NY Isles VS LV, as I hear the occasional jet fly overhead from the social distancing air show this weekend. I did get one photo of a plane today. Being 30 minutes away we usually hear them long after they are gone. The planes that were here for the weekend. No static displays, just aerial displays with viewing from your “plot” of land. Canada’s only air show this year. The only

Milwaukee Eight Posted September 13, 2020 #1054 Share Posted September 13, 2020 Today, the boss and I remembered the events of 9/11 and will never forget. Nice memorial service followed by a 100 mile Police/Sheriff escorted ride. Weather was horrible with the storm bands from TS Sally. Typically this ride draws over 600 bikes but due to COVID19 and the storm, we had just over 200 bikes. NEVER FORGET. That’s her on the BMW RTP1250. The Blue bike is one of mine. Wearing rain gear in September Florida, you either get soaked without or soaked on the inside from the heat. M8

Rare A&L_Ont Posted September 14, 2020 #1058 Share Posted September 14, 2020 Let us try to keep masks out of at least one thread, as well as case counts. 8

Are you one of those we see, solo in their car and wearing a mask. What good do masks do outside and socially distancing? I live with that lady and we don’t wear masks at home. We wear our masks indoors and if social distancing not practical. SMH M8

No, I sent out a joke email to relatives (and Cruise Wizard) that asked if they wanted Venison or Turkey dinner for Thanksgiving. 😉 NOT...won't touch my backyard pets. It's Publix grocery for fresh Turkey. To add in... Late this morning watched a beautiful Bobcat come zipping in for Squirrel lunch (lots of Squirrels under our bird feeder). She was quite proud as she strutted off with that squirrel in her mouth. Happened too quick to get a picture. Bailey & Sophie Posted September 14, 2020 #1067 Share Posted September 14, 2020 I live in Minneapolis which has several beautiful lakes that are just the right size to walk around. There are aldo lots of very large houses around them. The lakes also attract a lot of ducks and geese. Many years ago the Park Police noticed that the fowl population was thinning down. A lady in one of the houses was baiting and luring them into her house. She was arrested for hunting without a license.

Rare Lionesss Posted September 15, 2020 #1071 Share Posted September 15, 2020 Our DD in Toledo is getting invaded with crickets. She catches at least 5-10 a day in her house. She tried the Molasses trick (Molasses in flat pan by damp areas) , but they just seem to breed. Here's to the plaques of 2020. Well kinda sorta, just our seasonal migration. Be healthy. Tatka Posted September 15, 2020 #1074 Share Posted September 15, 2020 (edited) We worked from home whole "lockdown", although I am not sure we could call it a lockdown as we were not locked in our homes. We would work whole day and then walk around neighborhood. On the weekends we would drive to Cape Code. It is our ocean place, 45 minutes from us and just watched ocean go buy. In the summer we started camping and decided that we are missing 5-6 cruises this year so we can/should improve our camping experience and we bought camper van Actually it was just a regular cargo Ford Transit 250, but we are converting it into a camper As we are really missing our cabin and Caribbeans we decided to decorate it accordingly It is our "ocean-view" cabin till hopefully we get to real cruises!!!!
