I have a question for you RCI experts. The price on my Ovation Alaska cruise this summer has dropped. Final payment was a couple of days ago. If I request OBC for the price drop (I think that's how it works), will it mess up all of the excursions and other things I've already paid for? I don't want all of that stuff to get canceled.

As @Ourusualbeach said, no problem.  If you get more OBC than you can use remember you can cash it out in the casino.  We are on Ovation Alaska May 13.  First Alaska cruise for us.

@Sea Dog Greg, I noticed you are cruising out of Galveston 10/16.  We are trying to figure out which cruise we want to do this fall.  We need to make it October/November.  The Liberty cruise is high on the list.  Are you driving or flying?  We cruised Liberty 1/2019 with our youngest daughter and SIL and enjoyed it.

@Ozark_Kid So today I pasted items from clipboard on another thread from my laptop so it cannot be a permission setting with CC.    Has to be something "stupid" with my phone.     Definitely stopping in the store tomorrow.

I am sure you thought of it but after they think they figured it out, try posting a picture to CC from the store to make sure it solved your problem.  Good luck!  Looking forward to hearing what caused it in case it happens to me.

I'll be looking forward to hearing all about it in May!

When we first booked it I was concerned that it might be to cold for me to enjoy.  After a little research it says the average temperature in May is mid 50’s.  That sounds better to me but I think I will still leave the noodles and snorkeling gear at home!

My doctor wrote "well nourished" and I took it to mean fat!

The first time I caught Covid the doctor was trying to determine if I was eligible to get the antibodies (think that is what it was called).  He asked if I had weighed myself lately. I said yes, 190.  I heard him mumble, obese, then he looked up and said, ok we can get you in tomorrow morning!  😂

Your meal looks very tasty. You had me at dim sum and tempura 😉

It was very good, had, Sake,  Shrimp Dumplings(Dim Sum) and Crab Rangoon, Soup and Salad, Hibachi Shrimp, Hibachi Steak and a California Roll and 2 good size bowls of Rice and don't forget the yumyum sauce 🙂

Everything was very good, first time we have ever been there after living here 16 months. Learned don't judge a place from the outside. 🙂

We are headed to Alaska in May too, but on Quantum.  We almost cancelled as my Mom is still sick but my out of state siblings have told me to go and said they will fly in to take care of my Mom.

Our daughter and grandson are visiting us for a week. Jack and I are exhausted!  We were in Grandscape today for 5 hours, a sports, entertainment, dining beautiful venue not  far from us.  My grandson was disappointed that the Andretti indoor kart roadway was closed for a month for maintenance.  No worries, because he had fun playing the arcade games.  Pizza lunch then on to Sheels sportswear store and so much more.  Tomorrow will be high 80s so a visit with his TX cousins, and some pool time sounds perfect. Monday will be the Dallas Perot Science Museum.  Homeward bound Tuesday.

Phone is charging in another room. When I have the energy to get up from this couch I'll post a picture or 2.  I doubt it will be anytime soon!

Definitely want to visit Grandscape , since my wife works for a Perot company we attended a very cool pre-opening Christmas party at the Perot museum a few years ago , need to revisit. Should take family to 6th floor museum, we always take visitors there and always find it amazing.

We are going to drive down to see what that experience is like and get there two days before staying at the Beachfront Palms. We would love for you and Sharon to join us. I’m sure we would have a lot of fun. Not to mention have a drink..or two…or three.

Harmony out of Port Canaveral.  Stops at Gulmohar's, St. Thomas, and Coco Cay.

He means Gulmohar’s Whiskey Paradise in St. Maarten. One great thing in St. Maarten.

That is some funky autocorrect.

Lol Gulmohar’s in St. Maarten is a great place to buy Bourbon and Whiskey.

We've never been to Gulmohar's. New port? :classic_biggrin:

Some people know it as the Blue ***** Bar port. 😉 I think we'll go into town, check out a few shops on Front Street, get some lunch and a drink (or 2) at the BBB, buy some hard to find nectar of the gods at Gulmohar's Whiskey Paradise, and get back on the ship.  Seen enough planes and I don't think the French side is full back up yet.

When we were trying to decide we also looked at Quantum.  Sharon really wants to see Sitka so that helped us make up our minds.  We originally had an Hawaii cruise booked for the month before but it got canceled.

We live about 600 miles from Galveston so we have considered driving.  Last time we went we flew.  Considering the cost of gas it would not cost much more to fly but I just remembered if we drove I could buy a bunch o gulf shrimp to bring home!  Last time we flew in the same day of departure and almost didn’t make it.  Not worth it anymore.  If we end up together can you imagine the live review!

We rode the big Grandscape Ferris wheel last Saturday! It was my first time exploring that area even though we live nearby.

I never saw that giant Ferris wheel before today , we we’re driving along highway 121 and passed it for the first time.
