whats the funniest thing you’ve seen on a cruise

mine would be formal night a table of woman showed up in bathrobes and slippers to celebrate a milestone birthday. My girlfriends and I vowed to never forget to get dressed on our birthdays

My, my, my  - first of all Thanks for posting, I think most amusing was the older guy with the walker who was exiting the women's room as I was about to enter.  He wiped out, due to intoxication (just take my word on that one).  Security was called and then escorted him in a wheelchair to the casino , where he continued the party.  Obviously, experienced and not going to let anything cut his fun short.

Or it could be the guys the night before a wedding we were to attend, running around the ship in tutus.   That was a very fun cruise.

Not seen but heard.   There was a cruise director who kept finishing off; during the Corona virus safety time; whenever he had announcements to make, with "Make sure you wash your hands all the time!!"

The future groom of a bachelor party group wore a ball and chain the entire cruise.  Also a large table of drag queens on formal night. Pretty campy.

This wasn’t funny but sad. Bride on her honeymoon fell asleep in the sun. Spent the cruise in a wheel chair wrapped in towels she was so sunburned.

I hope she and her husband are laughing about it now

I was on the Escape for a Halloween cruise last year and Santa and his wife just happened to be on the same cruise.  One night in The District Santa got up and sang a song about his rubber girlfriend.  It was hilarious!!!  Though disturbing to see that side of Santa...  Santa was a naughty man after Mrs. Claus went back to their room. 🤣 It was also fun to see Mr. & Mrs. Claus dressed up as themselves for Halloween.  They looked amazing and the kids seemed to enjoy seeing them.

I was on a cruise on Norwegian a few years ago and one sea day we were out on deck and saw two guests dressed in full head to toe Panda outfits walking around on deck offering to take photos with people. It was absolutely bizarre. We are sure they were guests because they didn't have an escort or a photographer with them.

The funniest thing I ever saw was not so funny to the server involved. We were in the free Asian restaurant

on the Jade and it was the very first day for one of the young women working there. She didn't know how to

read the instructions on the ordering pad and kept delivering items to the wrong tables. She came over to our table

and gave my husband his food, then walked over to a completely different table and attempted to give a man

my order. He kept shaking his head and she insisted so he shrugged, took the food intended for me and then

started eating it. We laughed so hard. We didn't want to reorder my food because it had taken soooo looong

to even get what did arrive that we just left and went to the buffet for me to get something to eat. We did tip her

because she was trying so hard and failing so badly we felt sorry for her.

On the Oasis of the Seas a few years ago, we were having breakfast in the main dining room on disembarkation morning. They have a buffet set-up for some food and your order the rest off the menu. Returning from the buffet with a plate of food I passed the entry to the kitchen and a waiter coming out didn't see me and crashed right into me. I wore a tray full of OJ. The worst part was, we had put all our luggage out the night before so I couldn't change. The poor waiter got me a towel and they tried to get me a t shirt from the shop but they were all closed and no-one around to open them. So I had to wear that wet, stained shirt until I got my luggage a few hours later.

On another cruise we disembarked in Miami, I got our car and we loaded up and started heading home to Canada. We got an hour away before one of the kids realised we didn't have the bag of pastries we smuggled off the ship for the road trip. The bag also had some souvenirs. We had to drive back to the port and asked security and they had the bag. The pastries were still inside, so  it was worth the return trip.

it was during Halloween day and a woman was dressed as Marilyn Monroe, acting all sexy and doing all the movements from the air shaft under the dress however to me she looked like the COCO animated version of Marilyn, i don't think that was her goal though. 🤐🤪☠️☠️😨 😲

Asked my daughter this and she thought the same thing as I did.

Our first cruise....went to lie out by the pool. An older women came and sat across the pool from us. We thought it odd that she was wearing a brown sweater over a bikini....then she started rubbing on suntan lotion. We realized it was it was not a sweater but very tanned loose skin.

To this day whenever we go to a beach or pool...we say to each other "remember the brown sweater?"

We sailed with a group of furries.. adults in elaborate and expensive character costumes. It was fun to see their interaction.  They have their own rules for engagement with others. Initially skeptical but they won me over.  To. Each their own. 😄

The funniest thing was a few years ago - our waiter in the MDR introduced us to his assistant  waiter - who was "in training" -

Hubby and I each ordered a glass of wine - then placed our dinner order.

I had some sort of a pasta dish - the "in training" assistant waiter approached me - winding the Parmesan grater - and asked if I wanted freshly grated Parmesan on my pasta - I said yes - he leaned over - and very carefully - grinding the grater - scattered finely ground Parmesan cheese right into my wine glass !!

Our waiter just about fell over - he was SO Apologetic - and that poor guy in training - didn't see him again the rest of that night - but he welcomed us bravely back to our table the very next evening   😀

funniest thing was on the grandeur of the seas 2013 , there was a 75 to 80 year old man doing the best looking guy competition . and he danced around in a robe and then flashed the crowd on the pool deck.  it was even on the video they made with his privates blurred out.

2 years ago (April 2018) we were on the Spirit's Mediterranean cruise out of Rome (it was a fantastic cruise, by the way) and there was a large group of Chinese (I would say, about 400) .... they weren't exactly like us normal travellers - they were different.

One day (lunchtime) my DH caught a chinese lady using the “WATER” from the drinks fountain to wash her hands. He said to her "Wow! Just wow!". The lady just turned and gave DH a blank look (like a puzzled look) and walked away.

People do what is customary for them in their culture.  Rinsing  hands in a stream of water isn't bad compared to some other behavior.  Now, if she took out her soap...that would have been really funny.

While on a Disney cruise, two women got on the same elevator as our family.  Before the doors began to close, four kids came running up yelling, "hold the door!".  One of the woman leaned over and hit the Close Door button.  Initially we just assumed she'd hit the wrong button, but she looked over at us sheepishly and said, "it's been a long cruise - we need a break".  Turns out they were their kids!  😂

My husband went to a conference at a hotel that was also having a furry convention. It was an eye opening for him...lol. He certainly got an education
