Coastal Kitchen Harmony of the Seas

Recommended Posts

What's the pecking order as far as reservations, who gets priority? I assume it' s start with the Royal Suite and goes down from there but what is the order?

Are there tables for 2 in Coastal Kitchen? Any Pictures to share of it on Harmony?

Can you order lunch and dinner in your cabin? Are the menu's for the suite in the cabin?

Pins with connections get priority.😉

Couldn't resist🤣

Typically there is one table set aside for Genie suites

Tons of two tops, the layout is very flexible

Full suites can make reservations 4-5 days before sailing, after that it is a free for all

On a C&A heavy cruise, they might restrict how often Pins get to eat there for dinner and tney may make alternate arrangements for breakfast and lunch

Really not sure if they do room service, maybe for the suites on Deck 17

The decor is not overly fancy and the tables can be quite close together

We ate in HOTS' Coastal Kitchen and were only in a Cat. JS.  We were able to get reservations for the night we wanted and the time we wanted.  This was mid-week so that might have had something to do with it.  We could've eaten there every night after that if we wanted (or so they said) but we didn't think it was that big of a deal so we passed.

You can get free room service with grand suite and above.

Coastal kitchen is a lovely venue ,it’s fine dining.

Room service you can order anything in the dining room and eat in room or on your balcony.

The Royal burger is good.

Should point out that room service in suites comes from the main dining room menu, not Coastal Kitchen. When we were in a CLS on Harmony in February, we took advantage of room service for several meals on our balcony. Breakfast in CK was the best; lunch in CK was good but limited selection (room service was much better); and dinner was average at best. We did specialty restaurants, Solarium Bistro, and take out Sushi from Izumi most nights for dinner.

Are there set menus somewhere for each ship for CK ? Harmony? We are in an Owners  Suite.

The menus are available at the maitre D’s station in CK. Unfortunately, they’re not online anywhere.

For us, it wasn't anything special.  The food was just as good as the dining room.  Service was slow, but generally good.  The only things that we felt were better was the view and the smaller, quieter dining crowd.

How bout ship in general? Speciality Restaurants?

I don't feel any love for Harmony on here? What's up?

We've done CK on the Oasis, Allure and Harmony.  They are equivalent in our opinion.  The only "strange" thing on the Harmony was that the whole CK/bar/lounge area is rotated 180 degrees on the Harmony as compared to Oasis & Allure.  A little disconcerting if you are used to the others.

I don't do memorization any more, but this looks pretty much like the selection on the Anthem in January.  It's in a different format now (the menu  looks physically different from this), but the menu choices look similar/the same.

Having been on all four, I was not disconcerted.  😉
