Captain’s Club Power Up Points

I need  two more of these and then will be elite after our next cruise, which is 18 months away.  This was an easy 3 points, which is a day in a basic veranda cabin.  How often do they have these power up events?

I only need 98 more points to get to Select! 😁

 

Hey, I've only sailed one 5-night sailing (as a solo).  So most of my 52 points have come from PUP.  I do have 11 nights (again as a solo) coming up in a few weeks so that will help a little bit.

 

But unless I continue to get free casino offers, I can't see myself reaching Select even.  X's add-on prices are just more than I want to pay.  I can sail HAL and add on their HIA for $55 or $65/night that includes a drink package, wi-fi, excursion credit, and some specialty dining.  If I book way early, that upgrades to premium drinks and wi-fi plus grats.

 

But we'll see how this side-to-side goes.  If I really love it (either/both), we'll see.  I'm sure I'll enjoy myself in my lowly interior cabin, paying for my drinks as I go, eating in the included restaurants and using the data on my phone while in ports. 

 

I'm a cheap date (especially cheap when I'm solo! 😄 )

Thanks for the heads up everyone!  Mine are there too, but I'll still be Elite Plus forever. 😂

As far as the next PUP activity is concerned: typically we have received a 50 PUP "Deployment" webinar in December.

Me too.  Once Elite Plus/Diamond Plus, it's time to stop chasing points...

I love Linus and am very happy for him. It's funny he got the same 8.25M that Swayman got.  He's a class act and top 10 goalie in the league.  

 

Looks like these webinars are every couple of months.  After we get enough for elite after our transpacific, I'll be happy with elite.  We go on other lines, so we will probably never move to +.

Ya'll will be relived to know that I got mine...we are still crawling towards Elite+ (for life). Hopefully we will reach 750 early next year...I can almost smell the free coffee drinks from here!

I, too, got my points. Like many others here I am working my way toward Elite+, which is not as close as I'd like, but regular Elite isn't a bad place to be.

It's a little tricky to forecast PUP activity based on history (even though I just did a few posts ago) because one thing that is clear is the number of PUP activities are being tapered back each year.  I am guessing that we will end 2026 with 5 activities (4 so far + a Deployment webinar in Dec) and then we will see what Celebrity does in 2025.

Regular Elite is a great place to be if Celebrity is your secondary cruise line (looking at your cruise history).

I guess I do it for fun, and in the hopes that many someday they will put a tier in between Elite Plus and Zenith.  I know unlikely, but there is always a chance.

Got my 3 points.    Now at 1486.   Almost halfway.   Sad that Royal Pinnacles have jumped ahead.

Some Pinnacles were already 3000+ Zenith members.  Many of the Pinnacles that made the jump were already 1500+ Elite+ members. Granted, a lot of pinnacles have never sailed Celebrity are now Zenith.

I feel obligated to let everyone know that I too received my points today, which puts me 4 points away from Elite.  Woo hoo.
