They also make the final payment date a week earlier than the actual due date in an effort to prevent any errors. I would have a talk with TA if they are doing that to you. My TA has told me her agency MUST get authorization just before final payment is due to charge credit card balance.

palolake Posted October 30, 2020 #34 Share Posted October 30, 2020 So are they giving an additional 25% of the cancelation fees or 25% more of the entire cruise price? And do you have to book within 2 years or use it by then? Just wondering because we already have 2 cruises booked for 2022.
luckyinpa Posted October 30, 2020 #35 Share Posted October 30, 2020 has anyone ever researched all the destinations for the cruises to see if they are even accepting people from the USA? id think that would dictate if cruising will start. even absent any order not to cruise if no countries accept us, we cannot go anywhere so why fight about it lol.

Sail4th Posted November 2, 2020 #46 Share Posted November 2, 2020 Anyone here know what (if any) bonus Princess offers in compensation for cruises that they have to cancel in December 2020 that were purchased with FCC from Princess cruises that were cancelled last March? No additional compensation. We attempted to use FCC from an April cancelled cruise on 2 additional cruises which have now been cancelled. Funds in different amounts were credited to our accounts, but total remains the same. You might get an additional 25% if you used a FCD and have it refunded as a FCC. I requested mine be credited back as FCD. Edited November 2, 2020 by kiwimum

Suncitycruiser1925 Posted November 3, 2020 #49 Share Posted November 3, 2020 Princess cancelled our December 12, 2020 - 7 day cruise on the new ship Enchanted out of Fort Lauderdale. Refunded our future cruise credit and future cruise deposit to our Princess account. We did not receive any additional compensation.
Rare azbirdmom Posted November 3, 2020 #50 Share Posted November 3, 2020 Interesting that the Princess website is still allowing reservations to be made for the 25 December cruises that were still on their schedule. Thinking that the timing of the parent company announcement caught them by surprise.
