I am also interested. When I was there March 2020 I thought it was cold as well as the ocean.

I swam out to the floating bar December 2019 and it was cold then too.

Granted it still was probably warmer than the water gets up here in the mid Atlantic most of summer.

Thank you, Bird T! This thread has been wonderful! Have been enjoying all of your posts since Day 1. I know it is early yet, but do you know what the earliest walk off time is for getting off the ship when it is finally time to disembark and head for home? I thought a 12:40 PM flight would be okay, until I read about allowing 3 hours to get through security/customs at the airport! 😲

Hi, Bird!

I was wondering what the casino is like with every other slot "out of service". Is it crowded with people waiting for machines or does the smaller guest count make this a moot issue?

Thank you

Smaller guest count helps a lot. Some plexiglass barriers stared to show up today. The tables appear to be trying to keep empty seats between players = three to

table.

Traditional Dining. They are putting couples at either end of a 10-top. The six chairs in the middle are “reserved” (hard to see in photo). Lady in white with gentleman in black on one end. Two older ladies on the other end…. yelling at each other across the gap  A0FF5EAB-7622-4414-BA1B-CB32228DC379.jpeg.b387e22d8a7d5a035fc9763b3ed704b9.jpeg

Bird - can you please tell me if the Diamond Lounge is open for D+ guests?

This has been discussed several times already on this thread. Yes it’s open. Must use drink vouchers for drinks and the coffee machine is manned by crew.

I saw this, too, & thought it could be my kind of bar tab 😜.  I’m willing to try $3 a glass merlot!!!

It’s probably a mistake made by the same IT person that made the $18.00 beverage package mistake. 😁

And all the more reason the WJ is missed for dinner. Maybe later it will come back.

Sorry if I have missed this,  but what is the logic behind not having the windjammer open for dinner? Surely having another venue open for dinner would only help to space people out and improve social distancing ?

Agree, but apparently RCI doesn't see it that way.

With the reduced passenger count, another restaurant was not needed.

With the reduced crew count, there are not crew to staff it. Remember, each station needs a waiter to serve the food.

Even when it is open, half the serving line is closed because one or two sets of each food is sufficient (no waiting).

Yes that makes sense - I thought it might be something along those lines. As capacity hopefully ramps up during the next few months it should  become necessary/ possible to open it again.

Hubby will be happy with the Molson Canadian,  its his favourite beer but we can't get it in the UK.  Its always his first question he ask in the bars on board
