You're amazing!  How about a day off tomorrow?😁

Tomorrow I have to go buy more sealer.  But, I learned my lesson from today and Lowe's has it in a locker waiting for me to pick it up.

You’re like the energizer bunny today!  Any plans to visit Boston?

I'm sure we'll be visiting Boston sometime in the future.   We love the Canada/New England cruises out of Boston.   But, this summer is Alaska and we finally had our September Rotterdam cruise moved over to a September 2022 Rotterdam cruise, so it will probably be 2023.   We love Boston.  And, I want some cannoli.

The heat has done the garden a lot of good. Here is the bouquet lily today.

Thanks for all the daily reports, and photos.

Really appreciate seeing all the New York photos as we have never been, and now unlikely that we ever will visit. Thanks everyone.

Staff at our ministry of health watching all the testing in Wellington to see if  anyone  tests positive,  after the weekend visitor from Sydney tested positive on his return to Australia on Monday.

News report states now 38 cases in Sydney.

Some feeble sunshine today, temperature 13 C.

Take care , stay safe everyone.

I know @erewhon mentioned the other day about it being the shortest day of the year, so I thought I'd show you what it looks like at 10PM on the "frozen tundra" on the same day, the longest day of the year.  We can sit outside and easily read the newspaper with the remaining daylight.

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂

Gerry

Thank you for your kind thought and sharing this photo,........ at our longest day we can sit out and read at that time of day.

What are the pink flowers in the pots?

You probably don't have the vacation time now and I don't think HAL does this very often but if you could I think Amtrak to New York and a BHB New York to Seattle or even San Diego would be a great experience.

Roy

Indeed.  I hope we can find something like this, would be perfect.

The cardiologist visit was not a lot different from expected.  I am not back to where I was in January but a lot better than April.  The term was roughly "From a severe leakage to a mild to moderate leakage".  The bad news is she still wants me to do 3 months of cardiac rehab.  The appointment for that is July 2.  It is 3 times a week so that pretty much precludes any summer travel unless I get a reprieve.

Roy

Thank you for this update, do you go to the hospital forthe cardiac rehab appointments?

Hope you had a delicious  birthday lunch after your appointment.?

I traveled to New York when brother was being honored in New York City and wanted our Mother to join him. When he asked for “escorts” for her (she was 95 1/2 years old), one of my sisters &  I jumped at the chance! I even volunteered to fly in the middle seat both ways. What a week! A Broadway show (The Lion King ❤️), the Chelsea Pier, Macy’s, Wall Street, 9-11 Memorial, subway trips, Park Central,  and fine dining. Hope to return sometime soon (2022?) at the end of a transatlantic cruise?! 🚢

Pleased to hear your improvement at the cardiologist appointment Roy.

Hopefully after the 3 months rehabilitation you will be a lot better and they give you the all clear to go on a cruise or land holiday.

Take care and stay safe.

Graham.

It will be at the local hospital, not the big one in Baltimore where the surgery was done.

Good news and bad news.  But the best news is that you are improving, Roy 👍

The large pots along the fence contain million bells, the rectangular planters under the spruce tree have cyclamen, the hanging basket and two pots at the opening of the retaining wall are begonias, and the large pouffy plant on the left is a hydrangea.  Unfortunately they're all annuals (we've tried over-wintering the begonias, but they don't do well), so they're lovely for now, but will all be replaced next year.

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂
