What is the latest theory on when Icon will start sailing? Hoping to sail her after the Radiance Panama Canal cruise.

I'm hoping for an Icon Ta before I get on Serenade for the Pan Can on Nov7th

According to my Royal App Navigator has a gap in cruises from Los  Angeles 16 February 2024 to 12 April 2024,

iIs this the South America Cruises or a Singapore dry dock?

I thought perhaps Hawaii… Navigator has appeared in Honolulu’s port calendar on Feb 21, 2024.

I didn’t spot it in any other Hawaiian ports.

I read somewhere that Royal has just applied to start cruises out of Hong Kong. I believe with spectrum.

They where thinking of early next year if they allow it.

I found it.

I can’t see Royal home porting Spectrum in HK unless Singapore gets a replacement ship (Wonder?).

Thanks for sharing the link.  No specific ship identified but they do apparently want the option to return.
I cant see the Chinese central govt approving in the near term but we’ll see.

I agree about the central government but Hong Kong is supposed to be separate.

I read a different article they said spectrum.

If not what other ship could it be?   It would have to be Spectrum.

And Wonder would replace Spectrum in Singapore.

Thanks Geoff.

We will have to wait and see if it appears in more Hawaii ports as time goes by.

It is still possibly a dry dock.

Yes, good call.  Navigator is due for drydock early 2024.
Not many stops between LA and Singapore, apart from Hawaii.
60 days - enough time for revenue cruises there and back?  Nope!

can anyone see the 7 nights they said were released for Singapore? Or is it just me that they only have 3/4, 5, 9 and 12n cruises up on to book?

Yes, only one date showing. Jan 2-9 2023  Otherwise at moment nothing new on Royal site

True, but that's Royal for you. Sorry

It's okay. I think we are starting to see better itineraries with each season. This year, there is some change to previous seasons which is a nice change. Now only for them to get rid of Port Klang.

Its already gone up a couple of hundred, I should of booked last week 🙃

Bummer. You have to snap these things up as soon as they appear. One day, one of these one-off itineraries will actually be on dates that work for me... (sigh).

Since there is only one ship in Asia, and Spectrum is already confirmed to be in Singapore until spring 2024, I don't see any chances that Royal Caribbean will have cruises departing from Hong Kong in 2022 and 2023.

It is also unlikely that Royal Caribbean will re-deploy another ship to Asia. Which ship(s) still do not have 2023 itineraries? Seems none.

Royal seems to be swapping ships quiet regularly lately.

Its a changing world and anything can happen.
