Sky Princess Sky Suite benefits?

I’m hoping someone who has stayed in one of the Sky Suites on Sky Princess can help?

Our friends have been offered an upgrade (at a cost) to one of the Sky Suites. I know that in normal suites you do not get many extra benefits apart from the bigger room. As these suites are so expensive and fancy, our friends are wondering if there are any extra unadvertised benefits included when booking these suites?

Any info gratefully accepted. 😃

Looks like a lot more than the normal full suite amenities: https://www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/ships/products/staterooms/sky-suite-yp.html

Curious what their upsell was!?!

If you search Princess full suite benefits it will list them all. There are a few extra benefits for the Sky suites like reserved theater seats. You can also watch MUTS from your balcony. Have not determined if this.is a + or -.

yes, the link above in post #3 shows all of the benefits in addition to "regular" suite benefits

Brilliant, thank you. It does have extra benefits then.

sailing in June and I don’t know what the upsell was. I’ll try to find out! 😬

According to a review I read, not only does it have the most benefits but the Medallion you are given is a white once, which signifies you are a Sky Suite passenger. This ensures top of the line VIP service no matter where you go. The Sky suite manager will greet you at the port on embarkation day and whisk you to your suite - with luggage in tow (so no more waiting for your luggage to be delivered to your room by whenever that evening).

Besides the listings below from other respondents you will be contacted approx 4 weeks before the cruise by a representative from the Suite Experience Concierge who will check if you are celebrating any special events on the trip. You will be asked to choose 2 bottles of liquor which will be in your room on arrival (Vodka – Grey Goose, Absolut & flavors, Gin – Bombay Sapphire, Tanqeray, Tequila – Don Julio Blanco & Cazadores, Don Julio Reposado, Rum – Captain Morgan, Appleton Estate, The Karken Black Spiced, Gosling’s Black Seal, Bourbon and Whiskey – Crown Royal, Jameson, Jack Daniels)

or you can change this from Beer and wine if your prefer. You also can chose your soda's etc.

Besides the complimentary free 1st night dinner in one of the specialty restaurants you are also able to have a complimentary balcony breakfast and dinner.

If you are cruising to Princess Cays you get a reserved bungalow (included)

You get free entry to the Enclave (but not the spa), although treatments can be arranged including having them on your private balcony

You used to get a tour of the bridge as well but assume this has stopped with covid.

As already mentioned you are met on embarkation day by the Suite Experience Manager will greet you and take you straight to your suite (along with you luggage), you can also arrange the same type of disembarkation.

There are a number of other options you can boo including selecting the movie under the stars for one night, having a guitarist serenade you on your balcony or have an expert show you the stars all from your own balcony. You can also have a private party and hire a cocktail waiter to serve drinks for an hour.

All of the above is at an additional charge I believe.

Hope this helps and you enjoy the experience.

Just to add, and this is small but I found interesting because I like Nespresso, there are only three Nespresso machines on the ship - one in each Sky Suite and one in the Captain's quarters.

I know - useless tidbit! Lol!

Our party of 4 stayed in S309 last week on the Scandinavia cruise and the majority of the information given is absolutely correct. In addition to what has been mentioned, our mini bars were restocked daily with our choice of beverages both beer and soft drinks. We were all also given a coffee package for use at International Cafe. The suite comes with free access to the Concierge Lounge where every evening drinks and canapés are complimentary.

We were contacted about 5 weeks out by the pre cruise concierge service as already mentioned and special events were taken care of onboard which was lovely. Our Suite Experience Manager was superb taking care of us from the moment we dropped our car at CPS Parking all the way through to escorting us and our luggage with his team from the ship back to our car upon disembarking the ship.

We ate in the Estrella dining room club class on 3 occasions and on 3 nights ate at Crown Grill, Sabbatini’s and on our balcony for the balcony dinner experience, all of which were excellent.
We also had a full afternoon tea served on the balcony which was delicious and why there was no evening meal required that day😀

The whole experience was a once in a lifetime celebration for us of many major milestones and the suite is simply stunning and so comfortable and the balcony is a joy on sunny days to lounge around upon high quality furniture including a large clam shell sofa. At the rear of the suite, there is a coded door giving access to little used hot tubs and a pool on deck 17.

If your friends can afford the upgrade, then I would take it as the experience is unlike no other on Princess.

Thank you for this summary! We have S310 booked on Enchanted this fall and were wondering about whether we'd get a daily replenish or just the one time per cruise minibar contents. Glad to hear I can get my preferred drinks that are only in cans that way. Did you try out the Enclave or take advantage of the reserved theater seating?

The girls went to the Enclave and loved it. Quiet On a port day and they were in there for about 3 hours 😀

I sneaked out the back door to a hot tub and pool taking a Lagunitas IPA with me…..

Great memories and trust me, your Suite Experience Host, is the best!!

Sorry, the reserved Theatre seating is A MUST especially for Rock Opera, 5 Skies and Gareth Oliver…your Suite Experience Manager will be there holding seats and you have direct contact with them through WhatsApp. Only Sky Suites have this access to the SEM.

Fantastic to read your comments on the Sky Suite Elwatzero. We have S310 booked for July on the Enchanted. I have a couple of questions, which I hope you don’t mind answering. What happened when you got to Southampton - how did the SEM find you. Did you hold onto your luggage until you located the SEM or did you have to pick up your Medallion first?  Also, did the mini bar spirits get restocked daily free of charge as well as the beers and sodas?  When the Shoreside Concierge contacted you, what info / requests did you provide. Want to be prepared for the call. Glad you had a great trip.

We were sent the SEM contact details by the pre cruise concierge and then we set up on WhatsApp pre cruise and introduced ourselves. Once at Southampton, we messaged and were met with our luggage that was immediately taken from us to go to the suite. The SEM then escorted us to a desk to verify all Covid documentation and then to a desk to collect our Medallion before taking us through expedited security and on to the ship. The suite was still being made up so we had about a 45 min wait which was fine.

In discussion with the pre cruise concierge we swapped our Elite mini bar perk out for coffee packages as we had discussed what would be our choices for the daily mini bar replenishments. I would assume that you will do likewise when discussing with the pre cruise concierge.

if you have any special events, then mention them to the pre cruise concierge as Princess like to make those days special when on board and choose a nice sunny port for the balcony dinner as it’s just superb!

Enjoy when you get onboard😀

Thanks for the info. Sounds as if meeting the SEM and boarding will be really easy. Don’t think we will need the Coffee Card as we have The Princess Plus package, so the Coffees are included. Looking forward to having the Ultimate Balcony Dinner, but we are sailing to Norway and Iceland, so will have to book the day and time wisely.
