I sent in my request via fax (I do not use the form from Princess, but provide the necessary info in the fax cover sheet) with my redacted brokerage statement.   I sent it in on Friday, July 22, 2022.  I did no follow up, confident that Princess would get it taken care of.  (They always have.)

 

I don't check my booking more than once a week, so I don't know when the On-Board Credit showed up, but it was there today, Tues, Aug 9.  So it took no more than 3 and one-half weeks.

Mine was added without notice as well (so, check), within a couple of weeks. I submitted the online form through email. 

I would suggest anyone not getting a response within a reasonable amount of time, resubmit the form first, and then call if there is still no response.

Can you advise where in the cruise personalizer you found the CCL stock OBC? does it show up in sam place as other OBC's?....I seem to recall it showed up somewhere else......thanks much! ..and have a great cruise!

click on payments…towards the bottom

move down

I submitted my email request last week. OBC showed up for my November cruise this morning. No notification received from Princess despite what the auto response email stated.

 

I got caught up in the Diamond Princess cancellations for Sept, so no OBC update to that cruise. Still waiting on confirmation of my transfer request for the replacement cruise. I’d rather Princess worked on that part, rather than crediting a cruise that has not even got to final payment status.

Exactly!  They are so overwhelmed, I’m sure.  They have to work by travel date.

It is more efficient to process a shareholder’s credit request once and be done with it than to sort it by sailing date and postpone it until later.  Especially with shareholders getting impatient and submitting repeated requests when their first request is not processed quickly enough.

UPDATE…after 3 submissions of the correct documents, FINALLY got the credit posted with the help of live chat ( 2nd try with live chat).Now just have to hope our Canada cruise is a go. Lesson learned..be persistent.

I submitted an email with brokerage statement attached,  a week ago, no form, just required info written on monthly stock statement.  Today, the OBC was posted for our November cruise. I've done this multiple times [used to fax back then] for prior cruises and do not recall any notification. At least it's there for our use.

I emailed my request to Princess on 8/5 and the OBC was posted tonight. I did receive a notification from Princess that didn’t specifically say the SB was posted but it was an updated copy of my booking confirmation. When I opened it I could see that the OBC had been added to my booking. This is for a cruise in November. The whole process took 10 days.

Sent an e mail with the attachment to Princess and at the same time did the e mail with attachment to P&O   in 2 hours got the P&O shareholder benefit and 2 days later got an e mail from Princess saying the attachment I sent was not good enough they wanted it as a pdf file  What is going on with them  I have used the same formal for 18 years since I bought shares?   I downloaded the file as a pdf and sent it again but not received any further information

I sent a request in on August 5th for a December cruise booked through Princess as it involved a free cabin from the casino.  Yesterday (August 15) I got a booking confirmation from Princess which included the Shareholder OBC and it was shown in the Payments section of the Cruise Personalizer as well.  I sent one in for an October cruise on Sunday that I booked through our TA.  We shall see how long that one takes and if we get any kind of notification about it.  We never had in the past but I suspect they might only send those booking confirmation notices out to those who book direct.

I had a similar quick response from the UK about 2 weeks ago.  Shocked it was leases than 8 hours but very happy.

Mark me as very impressed with CCL credit process!   I sent my CCL info to the princess via email 6 days ago and the $250 credit showed up today!  considering I aint no bill gates savvy guy, it really was easy! like others have said, I didn't get an email notification...it just appeared. 

thanks "pac and go" for your  assistance!

also, I  used the "chat function" today relating to an excursion question (3rd time using chat)....

again very efficient, and....I wasn't on the phone for an extended amount of time. good stuff1
