Guess I could drag those out of mothballs. I’m with you. I still have a Hero 4 but haven’t used it in a long time. I had all kinds of visions of using it when I bought it but even back then, my days of skiing and other action sports was long behind me. Did you ever get a 360 camera?

Lava Flow 1 oz. Rum 1 oz. coconut cream 1 banana (Royal uses banana syrup) 2 oz. pineapple juice 1 cup crushed ice So sorry about the Go Pro. i was amazed how quickly you got it back and it looked like it was okay too. Hopefully these delicious looking Lava Flow's helped😀

Rare Sea Dog Posted September 27, 2022 Author #81 Share Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) HIRO As most of you know always good to book the Aqua Theater shows toward the front end of the cruise since they can get cancelled due to weather or sea conditions. We had some storms in the area but they went ahead and started it. I love this show. The performers are amazing. I don't know how they do it on a moving ship. The music was so incredible. If you are interested there is a Spotify playlist of all the music. Check it out Here: Some pics taken from my iPhone so not great quality. Here is a montage of some video I shot with my phone. Hiro started 10 minutes early. Midway into the show It starting raining. Eventually lightning started and they had to call the show after 40 minutes. Considering the show is 50 minutes long at least we saw the he majority of it. I completely understand why they had to stop it. We will try and watch it again later in the week. Back at the cabin I shot some video of the lightning on my phone. Oh how I wish I had the Go Pro now. Here is a short clip. Time for some cocktails. Rare Sea Dog Posted September 27, 2022 Author #82 Share Posted September 27, 2022 I love the Schooner Bar. It's the favorite place that this Sea Dog likes to hangout. If you ever see me on a cruise with my Sea Dog shirt come say hi. I always enjoy the piano players that play in the Schooner. On Symphony it was a piano player from England Daniel Marks. Lets see how about trying a Hennesy Old Fashioned? I met Schooner bartender Donald who was a great guy and great bartender. He took good care of me. I made sure to tip him $1 per drink. After several of these it was time to say goodnight. It had been a long day and a great one. I was looking forward to being nestled all snug in my bed; While visions of sugar-plums danced in my head; 10

I have always loved the schooner bar with the piano, hoping to avoid knee surgery unless it is totally needed , my dad refused to do his second knee surgery after the first, although I have friends that said it wasn’t a big deal .

A friend who cruises a lot has a whole series of pics on their social media with a "Baby Yoda Bread" speared on a fork and wrapped in a napkin and situated in various poses.

I was really impressed with Jaime's. We ordered the lamb chops medium rare. It seemed to come out medium to medium-well. We mentioned it to the server just to let them know, but it wasn't a huge deal because the lamb wasn't dry and didn't taste overcooked. But, I guess the server passed it on and one of the chefs came out to apologize, and we were able to discuss recipes with her, so it was a win-win. 🙂

Rare Sea Dog Posted September 27, 2022 Author #92 Share Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) A Sea Dog Sea Day I got early to do a little work out and see the sunrise. Wow what a beauty. I love the mornings on a ship. Panorama It’s quiet and not a lot of people out. It’s like I had the whole ship to myself. It's going to be a great day. Hallelujah!!! Rare Sea Dog Posted September 27, 2022 Author #93 Share Posted September 27, 2022 (edited) Later Linda and I went to the Windjammer for breakfast. That was a mistake. The food was horrible and not hot. My so called cheese omelet had no cheese in it. After breakfast we went to the Solarium and snagged a day bed right in front. Pro Tip: The Solarium can get pretty hot with the windows but there are a few that open. Get a lounger on the day bed right in the middle that has the open window in front with a nice breeze the whole time. An Ode to @Ocean Boy Later it was time to attend the Top Tier event It did not get her name but she had a ton of points. The Breakdown: 4550 points top cruiser 5700 Total on board guests Gold 1151 guests Platinum 362 guests Emerald 216 guests Diamond 302 guests Diamond Plus 218 guests Pinnacle 46 guests On the way back to cabin a little dixieland band. I also noticed this sign about a film crew filming. The media person in me needs to investigate this further. In the cabin we received a nice surprise. Our Platinum pins. Boy we are almost up there with the big boys……NOT! Edited September 27, 2022 by Sea Dog

I totally dislike windjammer that’s was one of the reasons we like other lines , but with suites you never have to eat breakfast there and on oasis class you also never have to eat lunch there.
