ksuyen Posted January 21, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 21, 2023 I can't really remember from the past cruises, but I think Royal Caribbean provides complimentary bathrobe and slippers inside the non-suite cabins. And you can wear those to the pool. Can someone please confirm this to me? Thanks!

If you want to wear to the pool you can, I don't.
gmerick Posted January 21, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Haven't seen the slippers anywhere, but I've seen the bathrobes in Windjammer, Casino, 270, Promenade Shops, Pool, Hot Tubs, Solarium.....
BND Posted January 21, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2023 They used to give slippers in full suites. We have a couple of pairs.
Merion_Mom Posted January 21, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Those were HORRIBLE. The bottoms were totally hard and a slipping hazard. Awful things.

Rare livingonthebeach Posted January 21, 2023 #9 Share Posted January 21, 2023 If you are Diamond and above you can request both robe and slippers in any cabin - whether you get them is a different story. The slippers I haven't seen in a long time, IMO they are totally not worth it. If you happen to obtain them, you may wear the outfit anywhere onboard. If you're sensitive to odd looks and whispers directed at you, then rethink your costume.

nelblu Posted January 21, 2023 #12 Share Posted January 21, 2023 I've noticed that the robes are much fluffier than the ones pre-pandemic. Some of the previous ones were flimsy and sometimes thorn.

Tatka Posted January 21, 2023 #17 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Sailing in regular accommodations we only had slippers ones. On Queen Mary 2. Didn’t use them, but they made for a nice souvenir.

So at the pool, a flimsy cover up is ok, but a fluffy robe is not? Sorry if that doesn't make any sense. Heck, you see a bunch of people wearing their towels going back to their rooms- wouldn't a robe that is basically a large towel be a better solution? I honestly don't see the distaste for robes being worn outside of the room. It's not as if it's underwear vs a swimsuit- which are mostly the same thing anyway. drjohn4 Posted January 21, 2023 #20 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Those robes are great for "White Night" in the Main Dining Room. 😁 1

Fouremco Posted January 21, 2023 #24 Share Posted January 21, 2023 Those who oppose robes worn to the pool clearly haven't spent much time at some of the better hotels and resorts. 😇
