My wife had never sailed Celebrity and I contacted them before we left so she now has Elite status.  She gets all the benefits.

That's normal for spouses. However she will not have the same CC points as you.

I cannot get a martini 🍸 with the drinks package, but I can during HH - but has been said it is made with House hooch so presumably not the same quality as you would receive in the Martini Bar?

You can get a martini with the classic.  It is one made will well spirits and in a smaller glass.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Funny, In over 20 years I've never been on a Celebrity cruise that had vouchers.  Must have missed that.

There were not only vouchers/coupons for drinks but also for laundry, dry cleaning, pressing, gelato etc. The coupons were on sheets and you had to cut out the individual vouchers. The ones for drinks were even dated.

I've seen all the coupons you've listed except for drink coupons--maybe next time!!

We paid for our martini at the martini bar on our edge cruise in March the first night because happy hour is not available. We had the bartender make it with kettle one .He tried to talk us into the beverage package,(BCC cruise )but told him that we were elite plus and would be doing the happy hour menu going forward. We tipped him well. The next night at happy hour he made our dirty martinis with kettle one and every night after. And never charge us extra. We tipped them all very well through out the cruise because our drinks were all free so why not !!

You were lucky😉. We did the same 1st night paid for G a T at Martini Bar and had Hendricks gin…..tipped well. Next evening HH but we were given Beefeater offered to pay difference but was told cannot be done. Also that if they gave us anything other than drinks available on HH menu they would be sacked. A few colleagues across the fleet had been sacked for doing this.

Fortunately, the benefits have not, just loaded onto your seapass now

Still curious how you missed the drinks coupons. Several possibilities spring to mind:

1) you weren't Elite until very recently

2) you had a long break in cruising.

3) your cabin companion enjoyed extra drinks by using your coupons.🤣

4) your cabin companion swopped your coupons for casino credits.💲and kept the winnings

Other suggestions welcome 😂😀😂

I don't know either. But none of 1 - 4  apply for me and I highly doubt that the casino would trade free drink coupons for casino credits. We have cruised 30 times on Celebrity and six times in the last two years, so just saying I've never seen the coupons for drinks, not important, enjoy your cruises!

I am now Elite. My sig other in the same cabin is not. I understand since he is my cabin mate, he is also eligible for the elite HH drinks. Is this correct? Ty in advance.

Just keep going to the same bar/waiter and tip well, they will take care of you can give you even the top shelf stuff when a manger isn't watching.  Works for us

Pretty much EVERY bar except the Martini Bar.

Your Seapass is labeled with your Captain's Club status.  Just give it to the bartender.

You are actually not limited to only the drink items on the list.  Bartenders will make pretty much any drink using the listed liquors.   If you are not sure - just ask if your beverage choice is covered.

Beers are very limited.  Wines are low end - you order by type of grape, not winery. Chardonnay, Merlot etc.  Different bars often pour wine from different wineries

Would I be able to get a simple frozen drink (e.g., Pina Colada, Strawberry Daiquiri) or does it depend on the bartender and/or whether I tip them?

There are no frozen cocktails on the Happy Hour Menu.

I know that frozen drinks are not on the Elite menu, but my question was based on this comment from Arizona Wildcat.

I understand 100% what you were asking. I cannot, nor do I think anyone else can, say for certain that if you establish a relationship with a specific bartender and tip well that you will receive something that is not on the Happy Hour menu.

Rather smaller than the ones served at the Martini bar.

I started the evening with an Apple Martini.

Any off menu from the Captains Club Cocktail menu, might be made, it really depends on bartender and how much they bend the rules.  Will they, at times and then there might be times they don't.  What one person's experience in getting drinks can be totally different from another.
