You do not have to lose $20, just have to use $20. Once you have bet $20 you can get the coupon's $10 even if you won $$$ with your $20. Whatta deal.

Good point. I tend to forget that nobody loses in the casino. Everyone always brags about their winnings. No one has ever mentioned losing to me.  And of course, the $10 free casino play, NOT $10 cash, can be parlayed to even more winnings. Because, no one ever loses in the casino. 😉😉

On some previous ship and sailings, some of my friends and family never received the link, so guest services can see if you were entitled to one and had printed copies of the booklet to give you. As with Princess, YMMV.

if you are not sure you will have WiFi on your sailing, print or make screenshot on a device you will have on sailing. I think I got the email link about 2 weeks before sail date.

If you don't get the email, you can verify whether you have them by looking at your Travel Summary.  The onboard coupon book will be listed in the same section as for example the Plus drinks package, wifi, and gratuities included in Princess Plus.

On our last cruise I just wanted to get my money out of the machine so I just hit the button one more time without bothering to hit the Max Bet button. Dang! I've never seen three "sevens" line up before. D'Oh!

There another winner story!  I rest my case.

We got one on our last cruise, and it was totally useless to us. Every one of the coupons required buying something we weren't going to buy.

We got a free bottle of "house wine" in the Crown Grill the first night of our sailing.

But you had to buy the dinner, either by itself or by having it as part of a full suite benefit.

Are there any available Coupon Books for cruises in 2023?

The printed books are available. Just go to the PSD & they will give you one. Only you can decide if they are of any value to you. It only cost you the time you spent at the desk.

I do not believe just ‘any’ passenger can go to PSD and request the coupon book.

It must be an amenity your travel agent has attached to your booking during certain promotional periods. A carrot to entice you to book with that agency.

That's how my TA explained it - only offered by her when the promotion was going.  Also, the email telling you that you have the coupon and can print it out has the specific cruise dates that the coupon book overs.  I printed out the page showing the coupon I wanted and the email with my cruise dates to show when I made a purchase. Had  coupons books for the 2 cruises in March but none for the 3 cruises in June

That was the only coupon in the 2022 group of coupons which did not require first spending money.

Below is what was in the 2022 coupons. I have not seen the 2023 list yet.

Thank you for posting.

Does 'wine of the day' mean wine made today?

Same coupon book they have had since the restart.  Pre Covid , the Best coupon was the Crown Grill BOGO meal for the first night of the cruise. That one is gone. Since we are driving this time for cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, we made use of the 20% off a $100 liquor purchase. I was very surprised to find ship’s prices much lower than what was on the shelves in st thomas and st kitts. Course i was only looking for 3 or 4  brands

I had planned to use the coupon but was disappointed with the liquor selection on the Caribbean Princess.  I did use the 20% off Princess logo merchandise and saved $16.  The pair behind the counter seemed unsure how to process it.  I had the feeling I was the only one using it in 10 days.

The Regal Princess selection wasn't bad at least for us.  What surprised me was the limited selections in St Thomas (Havensight).  Not much if any improvement since Oct 2021.

It's not like the old days when you could pick up a coupon in the trash & then present it for a discount.

The PSD usually has no clue about the coupon books.

One time they seemed very puzzled.  The next time we used it they gave a bottle that was about $35. It's hit or miss what you end up with!

So.  We were eating there anyway...might as well get some free wine.

At least the printed books could be used to level a table with a short leg...

There is no actual book anymore.  It pages that you print before you board the ship sent to you by your TA or Princess.

That’s where I have been getting my coupon books unless something has changed since December 2023. If it’s not the PSD anymore where do you go?

Proof that you can get it at the PSD until at least the end of the year, from time-traveler Tom.  😉

When I make a booking and if it is being offered by my TA, my Travel Summary will show "Cruise Night Coupon Books" under Special Services. Then closer to sail date, Princess sends an email with the cruise start date and booking number and coupon book attachment. I take a screen shot of the cruise information and  each coupon that I think I might use. Show the screen shot when I am ready to purchase,   No need to print out the complete coupon book.

Some of our cruises aren't booked during the promotion dates for receiving the coupon book, so for those cruises we don't receive one.  We never know if we are getting one until we check our Travel Summary.

That is my experience.  I had the coupon on a cruise--called to refare.  The CVP told me that if I continued with the refare I needed to know that I would lose the coupon book worth over $900!  I refared my cruise and saved over $600.  But, no coupon book for me!  🙂

That is mostly what our experience has been...the only difference is that they(restaurants, casino, shops) have wanted the actual coupon so I print them out and give the appropriate one for what I am purchasing.

Shop on Regal took my screen shot with no problem  Don't think there are many using the coupons
