I was going to post this as well.  Hmm...will they actually address some of the hot topic questions many people have been talking about?

I doubt it but we'll see...

I haven’t gotten a invitation but could someone ask if they could publish a list of all the changes and cutbacks so that those who booked before  flurry  of changes would know what they are getting now.

There is nothing about Power Up Points in the email so I assume there won't be any. PUP points.

You’ll probably be receiving this email with a chance to submit a question. I was going to post a link, but I think it contained identifying information (my CC Level and location).

I think theyll choose questions and record the webinar as a future Power Up Point activity. I was willing to submit a question for free. I don’t think they’ll be choosing to answer mine. 🤣

My question.....

We have seen a great number of cutbacks to goods/services in the last 6+ months. Celebrity used to bill itself as a "luxury" line, but now it is middle-of-the-road. What, if anything, makes Celebrity now stand out from all the other mass market lines?

Especially at its price point...........

Have already submitted my question "why are you even considering allowing Vaping inside any ship when it goes against all medical advice?

Mine was similar. I said I wasn’t considering any future bookings on Celebrity because of the cutbacks on food quality and choice, high prices, vaping indoors, short repetitive itineraries, and soaring prices. I asked if she was considering any changes that might lure me back to Celebrity.

Unfortunately you only get to submit one question. Tough to decide which one to ask, with all the recent food and service downgrades, but I’ll probably go with the one she can’t legitimately defend because it is a health concern for all guest and employees …..Vaping

Ask carefully! Any snarky or implicitly negative questions won’t see the light of day. FWIW they don’t openly share or mention anything negative to the people selling their products, so good luck.  It’s quietly slipped in and you stumble upon it later.

My questions would be:

1. What is planned to heed off customer uncertainty due to changes to the product?

2. Is the higher priced and less flexible deposit/cancellation approach actually stabilizing bookings? (I think I know the answer to this and it’s a win win for Celebrity).

3. This won’t get answered - but I’d love to see real data about how many Celebrity passengers were actually begging to go to Coco Cay. I still struggle to see how it fits with the overall product.

Any replies to the current "Hot Topics" will just be corporate BS and I don't think they have any plans to actually address the current concerns from loyal passengers. This event is all about CoCo Cay, Port Canaveral and the amazing loss of 10+ day itineraries in the Caribbean so they can have more family friendly 7 day sailings. I will watch until I can't stand it anymore....should be about 10 minutes into the talk.

Honestly, I don't expect my question to be answered - what I "hope" is that enough people ask the "what were you thinking" questions to make corporate say "guess we've made some folk mad.....maybe we should rethink some of these"

I also received the “invitation”. They asked for a question and they will get one. As others stated it will never get off the cutting room floor, but at least one person will have to read it.

"She" won't, but someone will. And after enough "why" questions, maybe someone will say to someone, "gee, we annoyed a lot of people, maybe we should say something to someone".

But, I live in LalaLand where companies and people care about the customers they serve. What I have found is the "Walmart Syndrome"......for every one person that leaves the store vowing to never come back, two more are walking in the store. Money talks and unless bookings drop, X could care less what I, or other loyal customers, think about the cutbacks.

The beatings will continue until morale increases!

We are E + long time X cruisers. and have experienced  most X ships, quite a few  more than once, in many diff types of staterooms and on many diff itins.

We won't be invited  to inquire but would like to know:

Has she ever cruised on Celebrity ships before X started to become Royalized ? If yes, what are her fav X ships and itins?

What is her educational/professional background & work experience?

What is her assigned mission?  Saving money, increasing brand  loyalty,  finding new cruisers,  changing  the  X branded  ships into  Royal ships?

Is she a " change"  specialist?   ( like folks who are brought into companies to " re- organize", cut costs and clean house?)

What are her fav land based restaurants and hotels, and how would she take ideas and concepts from these and  integrate them  into  Celebrity cruise ships..if at all?

How does she feel about smoke/ vape free cruising,  and healthy cuisine being  available  for all customers?

Where does she like to shop for clothes,  shoes, and handbsgs? ( tells alot abt a lady!)

hope  answers will be helpful!

Im thinking that with only one question to be asked, mine would be "all of the recent cutbacks and changes to Celebrity seem designed to boost revenue and make Celebrity more like RCC, if that is the case why not let the Celebrity executive go and merge the lines and save more money and get the nickel and diming over with!"

Of course that would never get mentioned and would only make me feel better for a few seconds after submitting it:)

You nailed it.  And by the way, they have added a huge number of 4, 5 and 6-night  sailings, too. To Bimini, CocoCay & Nassau. It’s even worse than I thought.

Oh, and I never got the invite anyway.
