Recommended Posts

Awesome review as usual!  Thanks for sharing your adventure...  Love the SLS as we had it that one the 8/9 - 8/18 sailing...  Had requested Shane but had Lou Anne as our Genie, she was great...  KoKo the room attendant is the best we enjoyed him very much!  Here is our collection when we left, even made my wife a towel birthday cake!  lol  Enjoy the rest of the cruise!image.thumb.jpeg.32fe982a75edd369b7c78fe9f84808d8.jpeg

When we got back from lunch I went to deck five and snapped some photos.

Don’t worry, I took the shortcut, not the 2 miles.

and I walked and didn’t run.

All the houses appear to be gone and they’re preparing for what’s to come. Supposedly it will be the grand opening on the Presidents Cruise.

I hope they have left the lighthouse in place. It is kind of iconic.

After the large last house, most of the treed area is still there. The light house is and for some reason I do not see it going away.

This is the planned layout.

Although this is a money grab by Royal (I can't blame them since they're a for-profit business), it will provide a nice option for a lot of people stopping in Nassau.  I just hope that they don't start putting Nassau and CocoCay in the same itinerary.

Since we are hanging on the balcony we preordered our Uber and checked in for the flight.

The kids in the flow rider line look like drowned rats.

Nearly every 3 and 4 day itinerary stops at both.  We have a 6 day Oasis that stops at Labadee, CocoCay and Nassau.

Lots of boats speeding through that channel.

They need a sideways elevator like in Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.

Our Utopia weekend cruise went to both.

The seven night cruises from Cape Liberty, like this one, all go to Nassau and CocoCay.  This year, Symphony May - October, Odyssey November - April.  Week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week........................................................

Me too!

It was a bit shocking to see the barren landscape, I always enjoyed looking at those houses there. I mean they were getting a bit run down through the years that's for sure.

Agree, it's frustrating. I had to throw in a few MSC cruises to break up the monotony.

The only good Bayonne crises are the 9 to 11 days that go further south, but the are in January and February. When we lived in Ct, we did a bunch of those. A couple of times we stayed on for the 7 days. Just delayed the snow removal for a week.

Agreed, and the past couple years there have only been 3 of these per year.
