Canceled excursion..due to change in plans

Try the Ports of Call board and see if there is a good local tour operator you can hire on your own. -
Exactly this . . most cruisers on this board are not gullible "newbies" and knew in their hearts this was a mistake but hoped to screw the system anyway. Now want to stomp their feet and act outraged at Royal's incompetence. It must be wonderful to go through life and never make a mistake yourself!

It's an insurance issue, not Royal's.

Read the other thread . . they've caught the mistake and refunds will be issued.

PREMIER PASS - I have a new theory. What do you think?

You're giving him far too much credit 🤣 -
Yah I think we heard ya the first 5 x - let people have their fun and see what unfolds. The worst that can happen is a refund.

Although you don't need a reservation, be prepared to wait for a table if you don't reserve ahead of time. The way I see My Time is if you don't want early (5:30 ish) or late (8:00-8:30) dining, you can pick the middle ground that suits you and reserve that time every day.

Is tipping sort of mandatory for a good table?
melbur replied to Giantfan13's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It's not for a few bucks extra. it's simply that you reserve the same table and same time every night. Go the first night and set it up that way. If you use MTD to go at various times throughout the week, then it doesn't work, you get what's available. -

Or like those who say they throw around extra cash tips, like a $1.00 for the voucher drinks - A DOLLAR - that's about a 7% grat for that drink. Folks should be thankful they're not paying the $14 for that glass of wine, and pay the server accordingly. -

Back to Back on Oasis-Pros and Cons??
melbur replied to bayportkat's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Just did a b4b on Oasis and my only regret was I didn't do a b6b !! So much to do, only 2 of the weeks repeated, headliners and comedians and tribute bands change up each week. Luckily I had the same cabin for the month. Anything less than a b2b just doesn't seem worth the airfare to me. Free bag of laundry a week is definitely a plus. -

Have heard about this, glad it's happening in Nassau. This is a port I usually pass on. Will be good to have a place to go

It's not a matter of bad taste. It's more in the preparation . . . spent 5 weeks with this menu and the chicken parm is like a frozen Tyson chicken, the NY strip was stringy and chewy, the Minestrone was waaaay too salty. Risotto was the best imho. Don't expect what you enjoy at home in a favourite land based restaurant or what you may prepare yourself.

Yes I see 4 of them for March and April, but nothing after that
