ABC to air 20/20 special "Cruise Ship Confidential"

Just heard Diane Sawyer say this is a special everyone should watch before taking a cruise. It is to air tomorrow night (1/20/12).

She said it is in response to the Costa Concordia accident and will detail that as well as what someone needs to know before going on a cruise.

Brian said on his facebook page on Tuesday that he was off to NY for a surprise interview. He did say Deborah Roberts was nice and fun to talk to. I assumed it had something to do with the Costa Concordia.

Brian was flown to New York yesterday to do the interview. He said he hoped that they would not harp on the Concordia, that it would be about his book. He said that it was not too much about the Concordia, but some was. He has been nominated for an award for his book and is going to London to the ceremony.

Saw an article yesterday that was pulling "selective" issues from cruise critic posts :rolleyes: .. obviously by "reporters"/"journalists that know nothing about cruising.

 

If I came on here for the first time not knowing anything about cruising .. some of these posters would scare me away too :eek:

He is the only American to last an entire contract in the dining room. His second book, Cruise Confidential, was about his time as an aut auctioneer aboard ships. Both ships very enjoyable.
