Just figured that out. Set my country to US and there's the 30% off. Doesn't make sence, since I get 30 % off on other cruises even in euros. On the other hand, no 30% off Independence Eastbound TA, even when setting country to US. RCI's wonderful IT????

I wish they would post the Freedom April 2017 Transatlantic... Booked the cruise after it this morning but can't do the transatlantic because no pricing in Royals system yet. They can see it and do the booking up until room selection then it kicks them out.

 

Not posted on Royals site but is on Ice House site with no prices. its a waiting game had a lot of time free this morning at work wanted to get this all settled and done now will have to wait until tonight or tomorrow :(

To put it into perspective - we did a 28 night TP from Ensenada to HNL to SYD in a JS last year on the Legend for just over half - and the south pacific islands have a little more "sex appeal" than Iceland.

 

Did put a hold on the Jewel Rome to SJU though. Well priced. Might make a nice B2B.

 

Do we know what happens to Jewel once she gets to SJU?

Why is the Jewel base price $419 and the others $1,219, $1,329 and $1,570?

 

I can get a balcony on the Jewel for $699! It travels from San Juan. Is that the reason for the others being three times the cost of the Jewel?

San Juan airfare can be significantly higher than other domestic cities, plus many US residents would not have to fly at all with a Port Everglades, Miami, Tampa, or Port Canaveral based ship.

The best deal so far is Jewel EB TA - practically giving it away. We're already booked TP at that time. Unfortunately at triple the price :eek:

Note for the Serenade Iceland cruise: Did put this on courtesy hold last night (accessible balcony) at the $6,500 price. Called the D+ desk just a few minutes ago as the "30% off every ship" wasn't showing. They took it off right away!

 

Looks like we are going to Iceland after all :cool:
