That's EXACTLY what I am hoping!

That is, if the posts are to be believed, which is a big "if".

I am in the Sun next year in South America in case anyone uber cross wants to cancel there. I'd be most appreciative.

My guess would be that the people who are so upset about being unable to trolley cases of water onto the ship are not the ones that have the rooms that you "upgrade" to. Just guessing...... :)

I was thinking the same thing, but it is never going to happen, as they are not going to cancel.

Well folks you have your wish. We have cancelled Bermuda and Med cruise and arguing over cancelling Hawaii.

Long time cruisers and Platinum and just don't see NCL able to fill our needs anymore and there obviously wanting to change their demographics.

For those interested in Spirit West Med. cruise 3/25 to 4/4 2018 cabin #BC 10686 one of the most sought after cabins. If not on NCL web page then call because it wasn'tr avail when we booked but called and it was open.

Apparently so, don't wait til 2017 or 2018 - do that this weekend or next ... right out of NYC, our homeport - both ships, the smaller GEM and the Breakaway still have unsold cabins as of this moment.

Sail at rock bottom rates, heck with the "Free at Sea" offers - $449 for Inside, $549 for OV for Bahamas, 7 nights or $599 Insides for Bermuda 7 nights.

I'm told it has nothing to do one of Disney's ship sailing out of NYC this year and in years past, NCL's itineraries for NY typically sold out & sailed well above capacity ... especially with KSF. Lately, not so much - even before the latest announcement.

If one does not book in the first place and started looking elsewhere, cancellation won't be happening. Has anyone looked at RCI's brand new OTS, it's here & now, homeport in China & looking amazing.

Meanwhile, in other news - perhaps, unrelated ... one of the city agencies we are affiliated with are ramping up efforts to plan for "Zita" including public info. Good luck to all the casino players -

betting on NCLH - it's down 30% YTD so better get all the OBC while you can and still offered since there is slim to no chance of dividends being declared anytime soon.

NCL stock: 40.63 USD Price increase 0.12 (0.30%)

Royal Caribbean Stock: 66.69 USD Price decrease 0.62 (0.92%)

Zero relationship to anything. RCCL stock has had a 40% haircut in the last 6 months. And, NCL is currently down if you want to quote dailies.

We have been in suites for 5 of our last 6 cruises. I drink a lot of water and like the convenience of having it in our room without having to run to the buffet every time I want a refill. We didn't bring one with us the last cruise because we were in a DOS and had unlimited bottled water. Its not a deal breaker for me. I will continue to cruise NCL.

I always cruise in an aft penthouse and there is always a liter of water waiting for me, along with the sparkling wine, in my cabin upon arrival. I also ask my Butler for a pitcher of ice water and iced tea to be in the mini fridge and refreshed daily.

In blind taste tests, very few people are able to differentiate bottled water from any item on the fleet-wide beer list. People just like to get all hoity-toity when their water has a faint yellow color to it.

Awwww Dougout.....you have a great way of bringing us back to what's really important on a cruise:cool:

May your next cruise be even better than your last!

Right now...as it stands..NCL holds all the cards....sets the prices they feel will deliver a product priced to perceive value to the end user (the cruiser) if they make changes along the way...only time will tell...

all the people making the most noise need to prove their disdain for NCL with their signature line...you know...the signature line where people brag about all the cruises they have been on? my point is...if so called loyalists are crying and crying about the water and then a year later their signature line added (3) more NCL cruises then they essentially have become the problem..now if the same people choose to flee the cruise line and go on (3) competing cruise lines....then they have spoken with their wallet.

Case Closed.

all else is just talk...

You don't have running water in your cabin?

Exactly ECCruise . All the snarky comments from people who are too big (probably true) to take on their own soda/waters doesn't mean that they (i.e. me) don't book higher end cabins .

Short term takeadip , you are mostly correct . Long term , I'd disagree . Yes they can change the rules and abuse locked in customers . Long term ...?

One thing we both agree on, unless there are actual non-bookings and cancellations , " all else is just talk." You bet .
