skinny drinks

Anyone had luck requesting skinny drinks at a bar? Looking for good strong drinks that aren't too sweet. My go-to on a cruise seems to be a long island, but they are awfully sweet and I'd just soon have it without the mix but with diet coke.

I've had no problem asking them to go light on the mixer and/or hold out things like grenadine. I always specify that it is because I don't like it too sweet so that they don't add in extra of something else in order to make the glass full. I am more than happy to have the glass not quite as full if it means that I'm not sipping on as much syrup.

I often order a Long Beach Iced Tea with just a splash of cranberry juice. Nice and strong, but not too sweet.

Honestly, a glass of wine has less calories than most mixed drinks.

I've heard diet sprite and vodka is a good low cal/low carb drink. I don't do diet sodas but I know some who do.

Yes! As someone on myfitnesspal the best drink for the calories is usually red wine. Not that I've ever given up food to have that glass [emoji1367][emoji23]
