Retreat Lounge yes - rest of Retreat areas no.

Thanks for your response. So while ordering a drink at the retreat deck bar would premium drinks be included? Or do we only have access to beer and wine in the retreat lounge?

We have one suite that is a sky suite for my mom and daughter with no perks as it was a casino rate. We also have a edge villa for my wife and myself that includes basic drink and wifi package. So deciding if upgrading to premium is worth it?

In the Retreat Lounge you would all have access to any drinks that they serve including the ones in the Premium package.

In the outside Retreat deck area, your Mom and Daughter would need to pay for any drinks.  You would be able to get drinks included in the Classic Package or pay the difference in price.    The same as anywhere else in the ship.

An Edge villa is an upper suite so WiFi, premium drinks, unlimited speciality dinning, unlimited laundry along with an in suite bar set up with  two  bottles of spirits and constantly replaced  beers,  ciders and mixers are all included.....  You can't upgrade that😎

Thank you. Yes, this is the confusing part as some information indicates since I only have basic wifi and drink package we do not qualify for the upgraded premium drink and internet package through the move up program?

I think you would hard pressed to find anything on Celebrity.com that would indicate that you automatically get the premium drink upgrade when you win a move up bid to an upper suite. Compare the Sky Suite to the Edge Villa and you will see.  

 

I do know that it was true before the move up bidding process was implemented.  groryjm sounds confident in their post, so you might get it.  I already had the indulge package when I won my bid to an Edge Villa, so I cannot say from personal experience.  

 

The worst case is that can upgrade to the Premium package once on board when you confirm the situation.

On our last cruise, which was now almost 2 and a half years ago, we did a move up bid from a CS to either a RS or a PH. We got the PH and got all the inclusions that go with the suite as groryjm said including the monogrammed robes which I understand they no longer do.

 

I am now waiting on a couple of bids for exactly the same suites for our October cruise and a PH just became available today. There was a RS available when I did the original bid which disappeared soon after.

Good feedback.  Just to clarify.  Your original CS booking did not include the Premium Drink Package?

Although  there were a few exceptions 2 1/2 years ago most suite bookings included the four perks which included the Premium Drink package.

PH was ours….we sadly had to cancel owing to health issues. Fingers crossed you get it!

No my original booking had all the usual trimmings of a CS ice premium drinks,Internet, gratuities etc.

Sorry to hear that chemo. I hope things improve for you and you get back to full health. If I am being absolutely honest I would probably prefer the Royal Suite as I did find the PH a bit big and we did have our daughter with us sleeping in the lounge. I have not skimped on the bids but if they don't work out then we have a cabin that we have stayed in many times before that we are very happy with.

The PH definitely is big! We cruised in the PH on Eclipse when I was recovering from surgery and on crutches, it was a long walk to the toilet! When we were on Silhouette last year we did thoroughly enjoy our PH experience. Our only criticism of the revamped suite was no drawers in the bathroom!

 

As you say you will enjoy your cruise regardless….We have presently swapped to an eight night cruise next September (PH) as there are only RS left on the Canaries…

I am not convinced that they did anything to the bathrooms or the walk in wardrobes as part of the "revolution refit". They still looked the same as pictures I had seen pre refit. There real of the cabin has definitely been redone .

 

The Celebrity suite that we saw a couple of years ago also had no changes at all to the bathroom. It was exactly as before including the bathroom doors.

We had Royal Suite in March- not from move up on the equinox.  They did cheap out and no longer gave us a bathrobe nor monogrammed PJs.  Celebrity is cutting corners- but it still was a fabulous experience.  Second time in a Royal suite.

We have done 3 up till now. The bathrobes were a fairly new addition, I think following the Revolution.

 

The only problem with the robes was the amount of suitcase room three of them took up.

I’m having trouble accessing my move up bids. I received the email offer to bid on Saturday for my 10/12 sailing. I made a few bids and received a confirmation that they received them. Today (Thursday) I went to the email to try to modify them and hit the button but it gives me an error message. Same thing when I go to Move Up on the website. Anyone have this happen? Suggestions? As much as I’d like to fantasize that my account is locked because they are reviewing my bid, the cruise is almost 2 months out, so it’s way too early.. I’ve tried changing browsers, turning off and restarting my device but still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks

Did you try the website using an Incognito windpw? I always use that when trying to do anything on the X website.

In the upper right corner of your browser you'll see three dots one above the other. Left click on them and you'll see a drop down box appear. Depending on your browser you'll see a selection called Incognito or InPrivate or similar. Click on that and it will open a new window. In the address bar there type in celebritycruises.com just as you would normally and proceed as usual. Good luck. I hope it works for you.

I made bids for every suite for a move up.  Maximum bid.  I pray I get it.  So far we are in a Sky Suite, but I will have to sleep on the couch or the floor.  My husband is 6'7" and needs the bed.  If I ever prayed I am praying now.  HARD.
