Fiancé has Diamond Status, but I don’t!

Recommended Posts

Hey... my fiancé and I are going on Liberty of the seas on June 10, 2018. He has diamond status from previous cruises, but I don’t since we aren’t married yet. Any way to get around this? Thanks!

If you have the same residence address, then he can call C&A, declare you his significant other, and C&A will link you so you share the same level.

Part of the problem is that I don’t have a C&A # since this is my first cruise and they won’t let me sign up until this cruise is over.

Before Royal performed the latest WCCF on the website, you used to be able to get a C&A number without having cruised. I would at least try signing up. If you cannot do that, then call C&A and see if they will sign you up on the phone. Or have your fiance call.

He can call Crown and Anchor and get you one. I just did this same thing for my son today. He’s never been on a cruise but will be coming with me for the first time. They assigned him a number and linked him as a relationship to me. He will have the same benefits as I do even though this is his first cruise.

Have fun on your first cruise!

My son who is D+ had no trouble calling C&A and signing up his then fiance (now wife) to sign her up and get his same recognized level and she had never cruised RCI. at that point.

I’m assuming that since they linked your son that he is a minor.

He will share some of the same benefits such as priority boarding however his on board benefits that are loaded onto his seapass card will be different. All C&A kids get the same benefits regardless of C&A level.

Can I register for a MLife number even if never been to Vegas and still get some sort of rewards through Royal?

You really need to be Pearl level in M-Life to get perks on RC. Also, if you get perks via M-Life, you don't get C&A perks.

Yes, basically what I did. Signed up for Mlife and then got the reciprocal awards. Other people tried and were rejected so not sure why it was so easy for me, but I got a bonus $125 OBC on a cruise for signing up with M life. Also, the one time I stayed in Vegas I bypassed the 200 people in line and went to a private quiet check in room with 2 employees and just me, so that was pretty sweet.

Also linked wife (then fiancee) to my crown and anchor and she started out as diamond (I actually waited to link her because our first sailing together was the one that I went from Emerald to Diamond, so got C&A number there, then linked, so I wanted to be careful and not link her as an Emerald in case she needed her own points to move up a level).

With my son; created C&A number before his first sailing and he boarded as a Diamond.

I know it is what the T&C says and I don't know why it was so easy for me, but I got the $125 OBC from M life; turned it into cash in the casino. Others tried and were rejected.

What do you get for pearl? I've looked for what you get and couldn't find it. I was pearl on my last cruise, boo.
