AV8rix Posted August 21, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2018 (edited) The paragraph below is copied verbatim from the Carnival Corporation Shareholder Benefit publication. Bolding is mine. The benefit is applicable on sailings through July 31, 2019 aboard the brands listed below. Certain restrictions apply. Applications to receive these benefits should be made at least three weeks prior to cruise departure date. Hope this helps. Rare Vict0riann Posted August 21, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 21, 2018 We just booked a last-minute cruise, just three weeks before the sailing date. I forgot about the shareholder OBC for a few days, so it was more like 2 1/2 weeks before we sailed - but it worked and our OBC showed up within a few hours. Rare The-Inside-Cabin Posted August 23, 2018 #13 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Once posted, can stockholder OBC be used pre-cruise to help pay for excursions? No, "On Board Credit" can only be used once you are on board.
Rare ontheweb Posted August 23, 2018 #14 Share Posted August 23, 2018 Once posted, can stockholder OBC be used pre-cruise to help pay for excursions? I believe that Princess allows that, but other lines have not at this time changed to allowing that.

Rare POA1 Posted August 26, 2018 #18 Share Posted August 26, 2018 it is supposed to be faxed. There are some websites that facilitate faxing without a machine.I used FaxZero for mine. I disconnected my fax line two years ago when I realized that I hadn't actually sent or received a fax since 2014. I used to just attach the phone line to my multipurpose printer / scanner / fax machine, but that involved moving furniture and crawling around on the floor. This was much easier. I still had to "print" my brokerage statement to a PDF and attach a cover letter with our booking details. However, it was easier than moving furniture. The credit posted within two days. BTW - I had to get an updated statement from our TA. The CCL shareholder credit doesn't show up on the HAL site for me.
