Yes, the coffee in the DL includes cappucino, espresso, and latte type drinks. These come from a self-serve machine, to which you have 24/7 access. You will also be fortunate if the coffee machine is functional 24/7.

Just got off the Adventure. The coffee machine was available from 7 AM until 8 PM. That was the first we encountered limited coffee hours. There was a sign posted with the hours.

On EN they disconnected the milk line overnight (and locked it up) so was only black coffee in the DL..though full use in the CL. Not sure if they are doing this still. Was very annoying as they did not reconnect until 8 am when continental breakfast was set up.

Going on B2B on Adventure in 3 weeks (yippee!) New to Diamond status. I have read they have specialty coffee in the DL. Is it like cappacino' date=' etc? What hours is the specialty coffee available? [/quote']

On AD, we saw a notice that the coffee machine in the DL would be available from 7am to 8pm daily. ymmv

Hopefully you're not a vodka drinker. That New Amsterdam is beyond bad.

It's tolerable if you get your drinks with mixers and the pour is light. My family kept asking them to add less alcohol the entire week on AD. They were very heavy handed and it made for bad drinks.

Q's -

1. Is Diamond Lounge open 24 hrs? yes, accessible by your key card . manned from 8-11 am and then for cocktail hours in the evening.

Drinks are free in DL, all day and night? no. alcohol service is only during the cocktail hour. starting an hour before first seating and ends 30 minutes after late seating. otherwise, the specialty coffee machine which may or may not work.

3. Free drinks outside of DL, during anytime? any bar? I hear 3 drinks per? no. cocktail hours only. same time frame to use the 3 vouchers daily( they do not carry over) and there may be a venue that does not participate in the vouchers and only the same types of drinks are free with the vouchers

What other secrets or rules and pluses??

:D

there will be continental breakfast til about 1030 every morning in the lounge and maybe some light snacks during the day.

And fresh pastries !!

Milk is available to wash them down.

A major perk is having the Diamond Concierge available. Invariably, there will be some snafu the DC can take care of. Anything from making sure you get your shiny new Diamond pins to canceling that "mistake" $25 charge for not turning in a pool towel.

So there are no mixed drinks or juices in the diamond or suite lounge? What about juices in the morning? Also, no mixed drinks with the vouchers?

OJ and maybe cranberry in pitchers in the morning. usually very watered down by the ice. otherwise, anything used as a mixer for cocktail hour. I always get poinsettias during the evening.

very simple mixed drinks.. say two or three ingredients. cosmos., martinis, etc. mr spook gets Jack and coke. no frozen or blended options.

the coffee machine ( IF it is working) is espresso, americano, latte and cappuccino plus hot water for the tea bags and hot cocoa packets provided. you have a choice between the standard demitasse cup or paper to go cups.. no flavored creamers that I have seen. semi decent tea selection IMO. slightly better than the WJ offerings
